Just droping by to post this. As a big tennis fan, I thought this was cool. Nadal, Djokovic, Murray and other big tennis stars are playing an exho against the ft lauderdale strikers on wednesday to raise money for Japan floods. http://www.sonyericssonopen.com/News...ef-Effort.aspx
This should be a very cool event, and all for a great cause too. Hope I can make it down for the game.
Another tremendous event the Strikers are putting on or being a part of. Color me impressed with how Traffic has got this team really out there becoming a part of the community like Miami FC never was. I hope the local radio and tv stations are gracious enough to help get the word out about this generous charity match. And I hope a lot of people will come out and donate as they enjoy the fun. Won't be able to get down there to Miami myself, but I'm hoping Lucho and his 305 amigos will represent Strikers nation in force!
Good idea. I like it. It gets the Strikers in the public eye and for a good cause. I agree that traffic is doing a better job with publicity for the Strikers than they ever did for Miami FC. About time. Now all we need is a decent team on the field to really promote the Strikers... Maybe I can sneak down to Miami Wednesday night for a bit to join the festivities. I just washed the yellow Strikers T-Shirt, so we'll see... Thanks for the heads up, Maza.

That's really outstanding. Massive kudos to everyone, the tennis players, the Strikers, the high school where they played, for organizing the event.
They showed highlights of the game on Thursday morning on Channel 7 news and even mentioned the Fort Lauderdale Strikers. Best advertising we've gotten so far?
How about a nice video? [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pbX_iuxRTI&feature=related"]YouTube - Hope For Japan Charity Soccer Match with ATP All Stars[/ame]
