Kronsteiner would be a fun owner. Owner/coach.

So, it seems Gulati had a "come to Jesus" meeting with USL and NASL brass, so the PSG bid may be still in play.

And for those that don't want to read: " The Miami FC professional football club currently owns the Strikers."

I wonder if that's the corporate name, given this version of Fort Lauderdale began life as Miami FC in 2006. I wonder if the name endures despite the rebrand. The fact that the NASL then created a (new) Miami FC in 2016 makes things a bit unclear.

I would seek clarity about whether this Miami FC purchased the Strikers without anyone noticing it, whether the original 2006 corporation kept its name despite ownership changes since then, or whether it's a mistake of some sort.

It is the still-existing corporate name. Fort Lauderdale Strikers is a fictitious business name owned by Miami FC, LLC. They registered that name in 2011.

Miami FC, LLC, created in 2005, is a still active corporation which now has the address:

    1500 W CYPRESS CREEK RD STE 305
    FT. LAUDERDALE, FL 33309 US

The new Miami FC NASL team is owned by The Miami Football Club, LLC which has this address:

1001 BRICKELL BAY DR, STE. 2310
    MIAMI, FL 33131

Good find. But considering there is another team called Miami FC owned by the new power overlord in the NASL seems like a fairly big miss by the "reporter".

    You are absolutely right.

But saintpetersblog is also the outfit that charges politicos to remove unflattering stories about them from its website.

For all of the Miami FC confusion it is still interesting that the Strikers may wind up as a stablemate of the Rowdies. Or, more likely, Edwards could just close them down and get what he can get from such assets as may be available. Either way it looks like it is adios Strikers by 2017. This does not make me happy, but, as a fan, there is nothing I can do about it.

Reports out today indicate the Cosmos are in deeper trouble than everyone thought. NASL BoG meeting tomorrow. The Strikers need to beg PSG put their offer back on the table, because it appears to be USL or bust. Or, heaven forfend, the Strikers become the Rowdies' lower division affiliate.

    Interesting.

PSG Academy trying to buy the Strikers has been known for months. Not news. The idea that there is no sale if there is no league is interesting since we've heard that PSG wants to take the Strikers to D III. Without NASL then USL D III would be an obvious choice.

The lawsuit by Edwards is well known. The Strikers reply is news. As is the termination of the staff. Am trying to get that verified.

PSG would have to pay an exit fee to leave the NASL

NASL in their theoretical Sci-fi 2017 lineup says Strikers are there.
There's apparently no PSG Miami without NASL.
