Not really. Arsenal TV is more entertaining. Fans of other teams tune in for arsenal fan TV. Doubt the same can be said for other teams if they even have similar platforms
They probably are performing for the camera and it works. They are crisis actors and do a great job at getting people to tune in. Not just arsenal supporters, but supporters of other teams.
Just watching highlights, cech is awful on the first goal he is washed up Another chance creates from one of our awful defenders losing the ball Iwobi fcuk sup on the opposite side, again shut in possession in our own half Their second another giveaway in our half Shambolic, this happens all the time. Wenger just fcuk off and take half this shot squad with you We are a laughing stock club world wide. He doesn’t even stand up, just sits there looking apathetic. What is the point in bould? Seems like a yes man Game after game of this, imagine being an away day fan traveling to follow this shambles? I like ozil but he’s been invisible and is earning far too much He’s a brilliant creator but 350 k a week? Seems mental to me
This Club is like a car accident on the freeway. The only reason people tune in is to gawk at the carnage. And I disagree with any bullshit about ArsenalFanTV. Yes some are on their to promote themselves but not all. Some of the "regulars" (Claude etc.) have been Arsenal fans for a very long time and I respect their historical perspective. I enjoy the channell and just don't click on the douche bags. And yes, AFTV is more exciting to watch than the actual team of late!
They picked a bad time to start the tank. Ayton-Bagley-Bamba-JJJ ain’t coming . Gotta sit mothball Lawrie Lavine and Dunn . Oh wait......
Why is everything going through Wilshere when it should be going through Ozil. That has been my questioning in the past few matches.
Yeah, Cech was horrible yesterday. At least he was man enough to admit that after the match in a tweet... where he supposedly said something like "we can't compete in this league if I play like I did today". Respect. But we need a new keeper... why not give Ospina a chance in the run-out? Ozil also was useless and that's depressing. Whereas Jack was one of our few bright spots I thought. I feel like he was just filling the void left by Mesut's disappearance.
I guess the counterpoint to this is Arsenal is losing games to weak sides based on the Wilshere midfield. While that might be unfair because no one looks good right now, I'd prefer to see the attacking structured by Ozil and Mkhi
interesting...a talking head on talksport this morning was saying that he suspects the only reason Ozil signed was because Joachim Low was going to be Arsenal coach next season and build the team around him
It's an interesting topic Wumger spread the talking point that Ozil was waiting to see if Wenger re-upped before signing on But then Wenger signed and Ozil didn't re-up So I think it's pretty clear that its the other way
No offense but I think you may have been watching a different game. Wilshere is a calamity at holding this midfield and is incredibly predictable in build up. Cech manned up, true but it means nothing. It’s like saying Wilshere tough tacking showed passion .
Gunning has a real hard on for wilshere At least he doesn’t hide and shows for the ball, no matter how limited he is
Nope I wasn't. Wilshere was consistently leading our drives into their half of the field. And he was somehow managing to keep the ball within his control, even in those tight spaces where he's been known to cough it up. Trust me I'm not big Jack fan. But I will give him credit for upping his game since last season's loan. Is he Jack 2.0? Or Jack in the shop window? I don't know. As for Ozil, with the exception of one uncharacteristically hard shot on goal, he was largely invisible in our offense I thought (as did some pundits). And if Jitty is implying that he's just biding his time until Joachim Low shows up, that's an indictment of his professionalism. If he can't be arsed to give this team his all, even if he's no longer respecting his current boss, then that reminds me a little bit of the Hazard and Mourinho situation. I generally like Mesut, and of course I love it when he pulls off some of his magic. But those moments have just been too rare this season. He just doesn't have a big enough impact on our play or more importantly our results. And I'm sick of hearing people say it's not his fault, the team's structure doesn't suit him, etc, etc. He's either our highest paid player or in the top 2, I figure. And his contribution/value to the club needs to be commensurate with that.
But with Jack having a larger role recently, our offense has stagnated. Our match at Everton where we thought we turned the corner, Jack didn't start. Not saying it's all on Jack, but being the main man/bright spot while we stutter isn't a necessarily a good thing.
Absolutely agree. And our team's problem, as with any team's problem, is rarely if ever dependent on just one player or one factor. In he past month or so: Jack's taken on a bigger role, while Ozil's performance has dipped. Sanchez & Giroud have left the club., while we struggle a bit to assimilate Mkhi & Auba on the fly. Monreal has been in contention for our best striker(!), but lately's been out. Cech, Kos & Mustafi have been more error prone. Etc, etc. etc. And I'm not even addressing the coaching/tactical side of things.
