Incorporating "NSC" into he name was a cool idea, and made them sound unique, but it always came out a bit clunky.

Begs the question, are they moving from the NSC? Doesn't seem very central to me. But I've never been up there, so....

I definitely like the new shield and name better than the old one. I hope they continue to use Nessy on the back of their jersey's though. I thought that was just a cool nod to the fans and NSC.

I like the new name, but I'm not wild about the new crest. It's miles better than the old one, but it's a bit too busy for me.

I'm glad that the designs the Stars considered were provided by the fans, though. They got a lot of fan input, and this time they actually listened to it!

"The star of the North" or "the Northern star"

    What is the better translation?

I guess that if I think in Spanish it is "The star of the North" (La estrella de el Norte).

Great logo. The sharpness of the colors and font reminds me of the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers logo.

Nope still gonna play out at the NSC.

I was taught that the translation is "The star of the North".

Yeah the first time I saw this logo I thought of the Strikers one too.

Remove the light blue "ball" behind the star and it would better.

Really? I think if you remove the ball it ends up looking a bit empty. I think its a nice little touch that isn't like the normal soccer ball in logo so that it stands out front and center but also helps bring everything together.

Yup and with tixs going for 5-10 bucks there will hopefully be a big crowd.

There is no better translation. In French, it means both.

    Great logo, by the way.
