The other game has ended 1-1 between Watford and Southampton, Shane Long scored for Saints after 7 seconds which breaks Ledley King's record for fastest PL goal from the start of a game - boo! Not a bad night for Cardiff, I wonder if Neil Warnock wants us to go back to Wembley now?
yeahhhhhhhhhh, take this suckers!!!! great win and hopefully we're consolidated our top 3 position! COYS!
Never in doubt. Man Utd won't win v City, and then they play Chelsea so one or both are dropping points. Now just beat West Ham, almost there. COYS!
also, don't Chelsea and ManUtd have to play each other yet one more time? so at least one of them must drop points edit: annnnnnd I was ninja'd!
we couldn't play through the middle and the way they'd collapse on Llorente when we tried to go wide took him out of it completely; so i told my mate Tyler at halftime that we should bring on Janssen for Moura to 'give us more width'. obviously, what I meant was to give us better options when we tried going wide, but my phrasing was, admittedly, poor. and everyone laughed at me. then Poch brough Janssen on (for Moura), and I was thinking to myself, 'here is my vindication'. but they just laughed some more. I have feelings, too, y'know.
Vincent Janssen will always evoke laughter, especially since he looks like the Stifler character from American Pie.
re: Janssen Back in 2005 there was this guy Pando Raimerez, Costa Rican and quite the player. He joined the Galaxy with high hopes and just utterly floundered, his one goal during the regular season came off a penalty. Donovan earned it, but let Pando take it for confidence and I shit you not he hit the upright and it bounced in off the goal keeper’s back. Fast forward to MLS Cup a few months later. The game goes to extra time 0-0 and it’s like minute 105th Pando scores off a ridiculous volley to win it. So when Spurs are losing to Everton in a few weeks in minute 95 and need a point to secure Champions‘ League football I’m pretty sure Janssen is going to score on a bicycle kick from the halfway line or something equally stupid.
Doesn't exactly inspire confidence, but here is evidence that he has actually scored for us (3 million pounds per goal):
From the highlights, and the past few matches, Eriksen seems to be gaining confidence with his shooting. From the highlights, he was getting closer and closer...and then he scored. It almost seemed inevitable.
I wouldn't expect too much love from the Cardiff support, the only thing they hate more than England is London.
No. It didn't. All these years later, and two things remain constant, 'nutter. You're still you. And I'm still me.
