Some major moves have happened in the last few days. RSL FCSG Extension - Dejan Stojanovic has agreeded to a contract through 2020. GCZ Out - Haris Tabakovic, the 23 year old has left the club to join Debrecen in Hungary. Lugano In - Alexander Gerndt, a 31 year old forward has left YB to join the Tessin club. He played 98 matches with YB and scored 26 goals. Sion In - Valon Behrami has left Watford and joined Sion. Rumors: Reto Zeigler to Leeds United
RSL FCSG In - Yrondu Musavu-King has joined the team on a 1 year loan from Udinese in Serie A. He is a Gabon International who has 8 caps with the national team. LS Extension - Kevin Martin has extended his contract with LS through 2019.
Senderos has found his new home in Houston in the MLS. RSL LS Out - Kwang-Ryong Pak (24) is leaving the club for SKN St. Pölten in Austria.
Both of these moves appear to be off. Behrami seems to be headed back to Italy and Zeigler is back in talks with Sion.
Valon Behrami is back in Italy and will sign with Udinese. Reto Ziegler is training with the Sion U21 team, but nothing has been signed yet. RSL Sion Out - Moussa Konate has left the club and joined Amiens in Ligue 1. In - Sadio Diallo a Guinean International has joined the club from Bastia in France.
Behrami has signed a 2 year contract with a 3rd season option. Diallo chose to sign with Malatyaspor after Sion's manager refused to accept the transfer. RSL FCZ In - Rasmus Thelander, a Danish defender, has joined the club from Panathinaikos. His contract is for 2 years. Luzern Out on loan - Joao Oliveira, has been loaned for the season to Legia Gdansk in Poland. It is anticipated that the loan will turn into a sale. Sion In - Cameroonian Christian Zock has joined the club with a 4 year contract. He played for Schaffhausen last season. Thun Out on loan - Ivan Markovic, a 20 year old forward has been loaned to Oberwallis Naters for the seaon. BCL Servette Out - Defender Liassine Cadamuro has left the club for Nimes in Ligue 2. He had joined the club in the winter of 2016 and had played 39 matches. Wil In - Christian Miesch, a 22 year old who played last season with FC Sion, has signed as the 3rd keeper.
RSL GCZ Extension - Petar Pusic, a 18 year old midfielder and Allan Arogoni an 18 year old wight wing have seen their contracts extended until 2022 and 2021. Lugano In - Mattia Bottani, a 26 year old midfielder, has rejoined the club after a brief period of time with Wil. His contract is through June 2020. Thun Extansion - Matteo Tosetti, a 25 year old wing with 3 assists this season has had his contract extended until 30 June 2021. Dejan Sorgic, a 27 year old forward has seen his contract extended until 30 June 2021. BCL Servette In on loan - Brazilian defender Nathan has joined the club on loan from Chapecoense in Brazil.
RSL FCZ Out - Raphael Dwamena, a key for the promotion from BCL last season has been transfered to Brighton in the EPL for about 10 million CHF. HE still has his medical visit and obtain an work visa. BCL Vaduz Out - Moreno Costanzo, the 29 year old has been released from his contract. I imagine that we will know his destination real soon.
RSL YB Out (almost) - With the defeat to CSKA, Yoric Ravet appears to have agreed with Fribourg with a transfer fee of 4.5 million CHF going to YB. The deal is not final, but almost.
And this one is off. According to reports, Brighton found something in the medical exam that they did not like and Dwamena is back in Zurich.
The deal is now final and Ravet is gone to the Bundesliga. RSL FCZ Out on loan - Gilles Yapi has been loaned to FC Aarau until the end of the season. YB In - to replace Ravet, YB has 23 year old Cameroonian International Nicolas Moumi, who was at Altach in Austria. His contract is for 4 seasons.
It has been a while since I updated this. Life and work have become very busy. RSL FCSG In - Nicolas Lüchinger has left Sion to join FCSG for two years. Lüchinger a 22 year old has passed by Arsenal, Nuremberg, and Munich 1860. Extension - Giorgio Contini has earned a contract extension until 2019. FCZ First contract - Maren Haile-Selassie has signed his first professional contract. As the name suggests, he is of Ethiopian descent and is a Swiss U19 international. His contract go through 2020. GCZ Out - Patrick Olsen, a 23 year old midfielder who had joined the club from RC Lens, has been released from the club. Despite his contract until 2020, he only played in 6 matches. Out on loan - Nemanja Antonov has been loaned for the season to Partizan Belgrade. Lugano In - Fabio Daprelà has returned to Switzerland for three seasons. The former U21 international has played in England and Italy. In on loan - Stanley Amuzie has joined the club on a season loan from Sampdoria. Amuzie is a 21 year old Nigerian defender. Sion In - Martin Angha has left FCSG and joined Sion with a contract until 30 June 2020. The 23 year old defender has returned to his formation club. Pajtim Kasami, the 25 year old has joined the club from Olympiakos in Greece. His contact runs through 2020. Salih Uçan a 23 year old forward, has joined the club from Fenerbache in Turkey. He has played once for the Turkish national team. Thun In - Moreno Costanzo has joined Thun for 2 seasons. YB Out - Ming-Yang Yang has been transferred to Wolverhampton Wanderers with a contract for 3 seasons. In - Pedro Teixeira has joined YB with a contract for 4 seasons. Teixeira is 19 and was a major component for Xamax's success last season. BCL Aarau In on loan - Ivan Audino the 26 year old has joined the club on loan from Wil for the season. End of career - Stéphane Besle has announced he will end his career at the winter pause. Chiasso In - Zoran Josipovic, a 22 year old forward has left Aarau to join Chiasso. Josipovic is a former Swiss U16 international and a former Juventus academy player. Zakaria Hamadi, a 19 year old midfielder has joined the club from AC Milan academy. Servette In - Dominique Malonga, a 28 year old forward has joined the club from Elche in Spain. He is a former AS Monaco academy player. Vaduz Out on loan - Daniel Kaufmann has been loaned to FC Balzers to get playing time. Kaufmann has been injured since last Janurary. Wil In - Zé Eduardo has joined the club for two years. The Brazilian midfielder has played at many clubs. Winterthur In on loan - Dario Ulrich, a 19 year old midfielder, has joined the club on a year long loan from Luzern. Wohlen In on loan - Kilian Pagliuca and Albin Sadrijaj have both been loaned to Wohlen by FCZ for the season.
RSL Luzern In - Reto Ziegler has joined the club on a short term contract through the end of 2017. BCL Chiasso Out on Loan - Alessio Bellante, a 22 year old keeper and 18 year old forward Gioele Franzese have been loaned for FC United Zurich until Dec 31 2017. Rapperswil-Jona In - Gabriel Santos Flaciano, a 19 year old Italian-Brazilian has finally been given clearance to join the team. His contract is for 5 years! Wil Extension - Sandro Lombardi has had his contract extended until 2017. Xamax Extension - Samir Ramizi has had his contract extended until 30 Jun 2020.
Yverdon gets even more ambitious by signing Bruno Caslei (21) and Ousmane Doumbia (25) from Servette. They are gunning for promotion to the BCL.
Big late transfer on a number of fronts. RSL Sion In - André Neitzke, a 30 year old defender, has joined Sion from Schaffhausen. Neitzke had played for Schaffhausen 122 times, and since 2016 was their captain. His contact if for 2 years. This leaves a gaping hole at Schaffhausen and helps to shore up the defense for Sion.
RSL Basel In - Albian Ajeti has joined the club with a 5 year contract from FCSG. No word on the transfer fee, but FCSG might struggle to stay relevant in the RSL now.
RSL FCSG Out - Kofi Schulz, a 28 year old right winger, has joined FC Winterthur with a contract until June 2018. He had notplayed at all with FCSG this season, and had only played 20 times since joining FCSG from Biel in the summer of 2016. GCZ Contract - Nedim Bajrami, a 18 year old midfielder has signed a contract for 4 years with the club. He has been with GCZ since 2009, and broke into the first team this fall and has already played 8 times for the senior team. LS Out - Valeri Bojinov, the 31 year old forward who arrive in the summer with a contract through 2019 has left the club.
RSL FCZ In - this is a potentially huge transfer. Stephen Odey, a 19 year old Nigerian has joined the club with a 4 year contract. He scored 18 times last season in the Nigerian 1st Division to lead the league in goals. He also has been capped once by the Senior National Team.
Not too much. He has only played 13 matches in league play over the last 18 months. He did get into some of the Swiss Cup ties, but I do not think that he played in Europe (CL or EL) matches. The challenge for him, is that despite all of the turn-over at Basel in the last 18 months with players, defender is the one that the club was pretty solid at.
In his matches, has he played solid? The reason I ask is I have read that he has been signed by LAFC on loan with option to buy.
