Well, last game is upon us, not really much to play for other than pride. Benfica tying and Porto losing really is a fitting end to their seasons as well. Neither of them ripped through the final weeks/months of the season like Sporting and Benfica did last season. Benfica winning the league with 82 points is the most frustrating part, not really an impressive tally since the league has expanded the last couple seasons... the league was definitely there for the taking this year and we didn't capitalize.

Podence starting up front next to Dost, Matheus starting on the left, Palhinha DM, and Esgaio getting the start at RB. Looks like we're giving the young'ns some burn, hopefully they light it up and prove something for next year.

Bas Dost converts a penalty won by Podence to make it 1-0

Wow Bast Dost again, header from a perfect corner delivered by Matheus makes it 2-0

There's that youth connection! Matheus puts it in for 3-0 off some pretty teamwork between Podence, Gelson and Matheus

4-1 win to finish the season. The first half today was totally different from the last few games, we really dominated and played well. We let Chaves into the game in the 2nd half but another Dost hat trick was the highlight.

Dost with 34 goals in 31 games (he didn't play the first 3 games because Slimani was still our striker). If he had 3 more games who knows - maybe he'd be European Golden Boot winner.

Dost has really worked out well. I'm pretty surprised but the guy's attitude and drive have been awesome.

You'd think with this kind of scoring record big English clubs would come calling. Or maybe a Chinese club. If they want to pay a huge chunk then maybe he goes. But there hasn't been any rumors that Ive seen.

Exactly. Hope he stays and the team's attack be structure around him . No doubt that there's not many better finishers in the top leagues currently.
