That is going to make the Orlando game interesting. Three out of five game-fit attackers out. That leaves Nemeth and Gerso with no backup and nobody to play the other wing position. How is PV going to approach the game? Belmar can play the wing, and Lobato is also capable if he is healthy. He could even move Zusi up to the wing and play Lobato or Lindsey at the outside defender position. No matter what he does, he will have a fill-in attacker on the wing and the bench will be razor thin for subs.

You’re forgetting Croizet who has played a few games out there (who I think would start). Or Shelton could be back by then (he’s been a full participant in practice this week).

You’re right, he could slide outside in a pinch. But it’s definitely not his best position. Shelton, if he is game fit and able, would be a welcome addition.

It's good for him if he gets a cap. If he's being called in for a look-see, it could cost him two games, and if Nemeth finds his groove, a lot of playing time over the rest of the season. I think many of us has been wondering when Nemeth would get his chance, but had thought he'd have to fight for it.

Huh. Is Hungary viewing this as Nemeth or Salloi? That's really odd, given his form.

Unless he’s released early, he’ll definitely miss Vancouver (Chile plays Mexico on the 16th)

I think that everyone knows that SKC has a legitimate reason for not releasing Russell, but I’m not sure of the release protocol for those kinds of National team games. Scotland plays on 11/17 and 11/20. If SKC advances to the semifinals, the games are played on 11/25 and 11/29. Russell could conceivably do both, but the guy has been run into the ground this season with little time off. He really needs to stay with SKC.

KC can’t ‘not release’ him, the games are during an official national team break, FIFA requires clubs to release the players.

Why on earth are they playing the second leg of the Conference Finals--the one hosted by the higher-seeded team, which is supposed to be an advantage--on a weeknight, rather than Saturday or Sunday? They know that Thanksgiving is the previous week (11/22), right?

What's the difference? Who cares what day of the week it is on?

With the state of the club right now I think we’re beyond the day of the week effecting a sell out for a conference final that will have 2+ weeks to sell out.

I'm sure it would sell out no issue. But that's not the only issue. I mean, people would much rather it be Saturday instead of midweek, whether or not that impacts their decision to go.

But on the day of the week, as with the time, SKC/MLS is limited by the networks and when they will show the games.

The Die Hards to go the game no matter when (Weekend, Week night, at the same time a Royals or Chiefs or Mizzou or whoever is on). The casuals won't "tune in" to the broadcast if it's up against the Chiefs right now ... so they probably have a better shot at getting eyeballs on a week night vs the upcoming game on Sunday afternoon (during a Chiefs game).

I didn’t know where to put this comment, so I guess this will do. After watching the USA lose to England today, its clear that US Soccer has absolutely wasted a full year of development and progress by not having a new head coach and a clear plan in place to develop a national team. I didn’t expect the USA team to win, but I did expect them to show some kind of organization, attack, resistance or something. The USA soccer team comes away embarrassed again because they keep doing the same dumb things over and over again and expect to compete with the best teams in the world when they couldn’t even finish in the top of CONCACAF. US Soccer federation is failing and it is showing no signs that it working to get better. Sad.

All 3 goals scored prior to him coming on ... so ouch for his country, nothing really "on him".
