Come out firing on all cylinders. Podence playing phenomenal, if he can keep this up through a full game consistently he should be a mainstay in the XI

Feel like we should be up by more than 1 by now, especially with this season's signature late conceded goals

tbh I’m surprised this isn’t tied at 1-1 with that golden opportunity Portimonense had. But we’ve completed dominated and could be up multiple goals by now. I expect another 1 or 2 in the second half with the way they’ve been playing. Podence has been a star today, and honestly outside of a couple turnovers from William early in the game and Coates/Mathieu letting that Asian kid sneak through, nobody has played poorly

2nd yellow for Hackman, Portimonense down a man. Should be easy to get an insirance goal or 2 now

Ended up being an easy win but should have scored more. We wasted too many chances.

We've grinded out a few results lately, but the way this one was played leaves optimism. All in all finishing the league in 2017 with 4 consecutive wins and a record of 12-3-0, still undefeated and are level with Porto with 39 points. Hard to argue the results so far, but immediately into the thick of things in the new year with one of the biggest games of the year away against Benfica, who has been on a tear in the league as of late. With the way the standings have been shaping up it could go a long way in the final standings.
