Holden is not especially skillful. Good clean skills, plays simple. Good player.

Heavy pressure by West Ham the last 10 minutes. Bolton finally get a great break, but the final pass is a bit too loose. Davies would have had a great chance to score.

    2-0 in the 75'

He does look comfortable at this level. Although, Bolton is not the setting for skillful type players. Who knows, he could start a change there.

Bruce S...I will let you take that back...because you have no clue what you are talking about. Do you even watch him play? The quality of his touches is excellent. He is positioned at all times to deliver different kinds of balls. Just watch him. He is thinking 'above the play', and has made very few mental mistakes.

If you watch the Spanish national team, they are so good because they have great technical skill on ball. Meaning, when they receive it, the ball stays on a position on their foot in which they have lots of options, and quickly. The ball doesn't dribble off their foot into space and limit their options. Holden has this skill as well, most of our players dont

Lol, Edu has more skill on the ball than Jones. He's called a "destroyer" for a reason.

Unbelievable. A 2nd penalty. 2-1 from Noble. Game on.

Anything could happen now. West Ham is notoriously streaky team, and they've had chances today. Fans going nuts.

You've gotta be kidding me. Another penalty, and it's 1-2 now.

    This is another senseless comment.

Jones is a destoyer, because he's great at that role. But Jones is also more skillful than most of the US national team.

Elmander just scored with his foot, which has got to be a signal to the upcoming apocalypse.

No kidding he's more skillfull than most, but that poster was trying to put him in with the likes of Donovan, Dempsey, Holden, and Feilhaber which he is no where near in skill.

Holden is sharp. I like the way he pays attention to which foot he's passing to.

this is not a true statement. He is not an offensive player, but if he were- his technical skills would be competitive with all except Dempsey.

Noble just got a well-deserved yeller for bringing down a streaking Holden from behind.
