Old Style should just do what most old things do and die. Even Hamm's has it beat. Found some in my basement that I probably paid $3 for a six pack but, chugged it cause i couldn't "waste" "good" "beer"
My mom is very sick in Lake Forest Hospital. We went to visit today. We (my partner and me, not my mom) are brew pubbing it back home. First was Lake Bluff Brewing. An excellent ESB. Now, it is Half Day Brewing. Their house beers are mediocre, but a lot of other options. Next will be Glenview or Granite City Brewery.
I want to make a road trip to Wisconsin to re-up. But I lost my keys in the park. As to what I'm drinking now? Can I legally hand one of these to anyone who helps me find keys in the park? I think subconsciously and ********ing consciously work can suck a fat one tommorow so I lost my keys so I can't go. Also marijuana.
American Cherry Coke might be my new favorite coke ahead of Mexican Coke. How many cokes do you think it would take before you got sick? I'm on #2. Any good cures for nausea?
Sad. 2 Stop drinking Coke* and stop shoveling the awful, awful matter loosely called "food" into your mouth. That should do it. Back in the day, they used to Coke syrup in its concentrated syrup form at pharmacies to relieve nausea. It rarely worked.
Gin and tonic? I thought malort tasted bad. Somehow found 2 things that sepaaratelly taste horrible that are commonly combined.
Whiskey made with blue corn from Texas. It's a very young whiskey (hence the name), but pretty complex, strong, and smooth enough to get in trouble with if you're not careful with it. Whether intentional or not, tastes like oily buttered caramel popcorn, and I'm totally fine with it.
Whiskey is weird. Obviously the best come from Scotland and to a lessor extent, Kentucky. But, you can find weird aberrations. I had a local whiskey in Phoenix that was surprisingly good.
Even lowly Dekalb County has a beer partnership... https://www.instagram.com/p/BzQxv5xBtmm/?igshid=1c77wfal3wegm @UniWatch check it out, local craft brewery teams up with @dkcunited to create @815Brewnited.
