Water with dehydration salts in it. Outdoors for hours exerting myself+beer+large coffee=these things are lifesavers. No need for a migraine later

For father's day, my wife made me a Japanese whisky Mint Julep with mint fresh from the garden and homemade simple syrup. It was the single best mixed drink I've ever had.

 

Went to buy Polish beer but, they only had warm Zwiec.

 

Apparently you need to specially ask for this.

"Enjoying" a 12% barrel aged Mexican stout with chilis at Von Ebert Brewing in Portland, Ore.
Would be good in January, but not on a 90 degree afternoon in June.
Glad I ordered a small one.

 

In Portland, we are at Eclipse Brewing, our 3rd brew pub of the DAY...and it is not even 4:00 here.

We have been to six in 24 hours. It is getting exhausting.
