prolly gonna get something like you've shown but without the milan crest. the league i play in is using these guys for our unies: http://www.mlsrec.com the team i'm playing on this fall is wearing the dc united home kit.
I can't start a new thread but this looks like good place for this question: Anyone bought any football(soccer) socks recently that aren't really tight? I just bought some Nike Stadium socks but they are far too tight for me, especially the elastic at the top. I'm sure the old version of the same socks weren't like this. I've also had the cheap sondico socks that Sports Direct sell and they are the same.
yeah. they are all that way now. i like it though. i don't want to feel like my socks are making my feet slide around in my shoes.
I don't mind them being tight around my feet. Infact I agree that is a very good thing. I don't want them being tight up my legs though. This restricts circulation and clearly isn't any good for performance whichever way you look at it (bloody flow, energy flow etc...) I know they need to keep shinpads in place but most socks around at the moment are far too tight.
i agree partly. i do like them tight around the shin guard but you are correct, they don't have to be that tight. the socks i ended up buying were rugby socks from australia! tight around the feet and just right around the shin and calf.
Has anyone tried these Injinji Midweight OTC Soccer Toesocks? They're available in black, white, red and blue...I have a pair of their mini crew socks and like them and I'm curious about their soccer socks?
wow! that looks like it would make for cramped room in the toe area. like a steering wheel on me balls, that would drive me nuts.
The running socks really don't change the fit of a shoe significantly, not sure about the fit of the soccer socks though. Actually, once you've worn the running socks for a while it starts to feel almost like you're barefoot in your shoes.
I don't like to double sock and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for thicker more cushioned soccer socks. Thanks!
I have been buying the Nike (Elite?) training crew socks and they are a bit thicker/more padded than regular socks. Usually pick them up at Marshalls/TJ Maxx for like 5 bucks. I have a few pair of Nike Elite game socks like that too, not quite as thick but still decent padding.
