5-4 I think. Either way, both teams in pre-preseason form.

Our back half is still impending doom to be fair but nice that Chelsea are having similar problems.

That Alonso/Barkely side is really vulnerable.

We could have scored seven this half. Chelsea haven't created much apart from two moments of madness.

Well that was a nuts half. Hopefully the comeback is on in 2nd. Still hope we make changes to fix defense/dmid.

He served another one for iwobi too . This game makes no sense except for Ozil and Auba just sucking in general

Well, the defense is shit and the finishing isn't great, but the attack is fun.

Hoping to see Torreira relatively early in the second half.
The one thing we are missing is any kind of cover or order in the midfield in front of Mustafi and Sokratis

Whatever your opinion was of that first half, it’s probably wrong.

The first total bollocking of the season should be in full flow right about now

Guendozi can pass like a mufukka

    What a find

I personally think our future midfield is him torreira and Ramsey as the runner

    Yea I am knee jerking

To me Xhaka and Mustafi are the absolute weak links in this team.

I'd given up hope on Mustafi last season. Don't know if Xhaka can improve at all under a new manager.

Guendouzi has been miles better than xhaka... who had offered zero... torreira needs to fit on front of back 2

Our crossing into the box has been truly remarkable

Xhaka should be off and Torreira on at the start of the second half. At least try and give the team some balance.

Guendouzi is at least busy if raw. Makes himself available and seems to always be around the ball.

Folks, it's a tactical change at halftime. The Wenger era is f*cking over.

What a half! Last year it seemed like the first half of most games was a snoozefest.

    So many missed sitters

Mkhitaryan has been excellent. He mistimed a run earlier and failed to press when Arsenal conceded the first goal, but the two Arsenal goals are his making. Iwobi too has done well and thankfully the equalizer fell to him rather than Aubameyang, who is struggling today. Guendouzi is perhaps the only other Arsenal player having overall a really good game and he has looked superior to his counter-part, Kante. Whatever doubts I had about him have been assuaged. Xhaka I think has been the most disappointing and I think it's only a matter of time before Torreira fills in for him. Ozil too, giving his billing on this team, really isn't living up to expectations and Aubameyang should have been on the score sheet at least twice now. I'm sure these two will eventually come good, but they're not up to scratch at the moment.

I think Emery is playing with fire with the high defensive line. Sokratis and Mustafi are quick defenders, but they don't have the pace to recover ground on a player with 3 yards ahead in space. Mustafi was a bit unlucky on the second goal. Morata also has a size and technical advantage that I think paid dividends on the second goal. Tactically, Arsenal still need to work out kinks, especially that high line. Lucky for Arsenal, Sarri kept Chelsea playing an open game after going 2-0 up and that gave Arsenal a chance to get back into the game.

Chelsea's training tops look like Secretariat's racing livery. I begrudgingly approve
