Gotta agree on the threads. Mens Wearhouse clearance rack. And yes, theres a look of desperation beginning to show on his face
Funny thing about Sigi: his tenure in Columbus was the briefest of his career and its also the only job he left because he wanted to be someplace else, but no place else reveres the man like we do.
Gonna be honest, even I feel aggrieved that Robinho didn't score there. Argudo, what a player. If he unleashed that from twenty further yards out, we'd be celebrating a golazo.
woof this team is bad, and our keepers are some of the worst....Is it a battle to see who will be not the worst in ohio?
Sigi Schmid wouldn’t be able to make this team good. We have nothing. You can hire Gordon Ramsay to be your head chef, but it doesn’t matter if you don’t have fresh vegetables.
This display is beyond pathetic. How we are losing 2-0, to an equally pathetic looking team, at home, is just unbelievable. And then Porter takes off Williams for Mullins. Why not take off a CM? Why not take off a defender? Instead, he just makes a like for like sub. I spent nearly $100 to be bored out of my mind for two hours. This team is shameful. I’m officially on the blow it up team now. We’re stuck with Porter for at least a couple years, get whoever will work in his ‘system’. Honestly, everyone can go, everyone.
This is the first game Ive watched in over a month. With a roster that needs gutted, he should get cute with different formations and tactics. Or would that put more blame on the coach for the losses? I dont hate or like Porter, but I agree there is not a single player on the pitch tonight that I think has a bright future. We are a shade better than cinci. And right now this team would lose to our other really bad team.
I’m legit scared we will go on an Orlando circa 2018 streak of not winning a game the rest of the year. Dead serious. Reinforcements are needed NOW.
What about tie or look competitive? This team/system right now is just awful. Players making the same run, getting into each others way, piss poor passing. I get why teams like a double anchor, especially with FBs that play so high, but right now we don't have 2 good FBs. CP is doing nothing to compensate in the middle for the lack of quality on the outside. Instead he still baning his round peg system into our square hole roster (multiple holes TBH). I hope David Guzman never sees the field again, although I know he will. One of the worst performances I've seen from a Crew player in a while. Never had a clue what was going on and made stupid decisions with the ball all night. Completely napping on their second goal. Argudo was poor too, although I expect less from guys like that who are probably number 24/25 on the roster. DG is expected to be a full time starter. I like what JJ brought. He is still raw but he was a handful for Orlando all night. Saw more tonight than from Mullins the last couple times he's played.
I was totally ready to call you out for such a reactionary post, but then I thought about it, and we have two types of players: young guys who will never be more than roster fillers, aging veterans who are hitting their sell by dates if they haven't already. JJ has a chance, maybe Crognale, but there isn't really much to build with long term.
Agree with near everything you said. My post was dripping with sarcasm. I think Caleb Porter's in game and week to week coaching performance this season is abominable.
How many players on Orlando have a "bright future." Leave aside Nani and Klejstian. They are on the downside of their career. Orlando is a team in shambles, caught between 7 different plans, with a clueless front office, and a USL coach. They played Columbus Crew off the pitch. In Columbus. On Sigi Schmid night.
