    If it is a democratic vote then why not?

    Always found it wierd that the US still believes in the "Natural Born Citizen" rule for President.

    At least that doesn't extend any further down.

    Football is getting more international by the minute. Players coming from all over the world to the best teams more and more, coaches and staff also... Getting the best person for the job should not be limited to ones nationality. Although in most countries this probably wouldn't happen. If the person is well connected and can get the required votes he's obviously done something right, if there aren't any bribes involved or something like that.
