Stupid, stupid man who did not know how good he had it.

I hope he can recapture that magic form.

PS. When do Australian clubs join the Asian Champions League? Next season?

Sulv~ Fat Boy (Qu's Nickname in China) is one of the best striker in China football history~ every one here knows that and he has many fans here, but he had past his best year since 2003~ too bad he suffers badly injury after back from Australia

yes, qu is a very good player.. scored some of the best goals in the a-league last season, it's good to have a player like him here. i think he is so good here because we havnt got many fast players in this league and he just turns it on when he gets the ball. a bad thing about him is that when he hasnt got alot of confidence he doesnt play well at all

Hey ruud van semz, can you find out the status of Kingston City FC's Zhang Xiaobin. Thanks.

Kingston, that's close enough to Melbourne. No?

Er, are you saying he's had an injury in China since he returned from Australia? That's now what we've been hearing, we Adelaidians were told that he's match fit...

    Maybe it's time for another call-up :p

We average 11000 a game I think which isn't to flash, bigger games get around 16500.

sorry mate, ive never heard of kingston or that player you mention.

we dont get that many.. the top 4/5 teams average about 13/17,000 but the overall average of the league was 12,000 i think.. it was lower than it should be because the 2 lowest teams from last season (perth and new zealand) only get average 3,000 and 7,000 respectively. top of the table clashes are often sell outs and finals are sell outs too.. the a-league final at sydney was a sell out with 50,000 attending. nothing spectactular but good for the first season of the a-league, hopefully we get bigger crowds in the 2nd season.

Will they ever try relegation/promotion in the near future in Australia?

i dont think so, the league is only 1 year old and we only got 8 teams. i think first we are trying to get another 2 to 4 teams.. and after that we will get a youth league so all the young 16/20 year olds aren't on the bench every week. relegation and promotion is atleast 20 years off over here.. it's not really needed in my opinion. this league has been like a breath of fresh air for football in this country, and we are just trying to get the basics right before anything major is done. and since there is only about 20 million people in australia we wont need so many teams

yep next season, adelaide will probably make it so hopefully we will see some qu in it

im not sure what mls system is but a-league goes something like this

it's league/knockout over 21 rounds .. the top 4 teams make the finals, top 2 teams play against eachother over 2 legs, the winner goes straight through to the championship final and their home venue is where the match will be played. the loser out of the top 2 match plays the winner out of the 3rd and 4th home and away 2 leg tie for a spot in the final and the loser from the 3rd and 4th match is knocked out.. the championship winner and the team who finishes on top of the table are the teams that go through to asian champions league, if its the same team (who finishs on top of table and wins championship) the runner up in the championship game will play championsleague

i doubt it will be a chinese retiring home, we dont want it to even be an australian retiring home.. we just want it to develop the kids until they are about 20-22 before they leave for europe
