Obviously this is the biggest game we've ever had at home, and/or ever. Where can we have a discussion about the lengths we are willing to go to...to give the boys the best chance to win? (ie bringing back ysa for 1/2 of 1 game, learning the goal tender's loved one's first names, ..etc. If i'm bad, i know, but this is for a trophy. Every little bit helps?
Ysa has no effect on the keeper. And we have finally almost stamped it out. I'd rather it never come back. The river end will bring it, and it will be a completely hostile environment
I agree about YSA...the main question is: IS there anything we can do that will make either the keeper or the local D uncomfortable? And where, if not here?, can we discuss it. Here may be the best place, just would like to make sure. Basically, is there something simple that we can do to make a difference, other than our normal routine? IDK, I'm just throwing this out there.
Getting people to buy tickets and get loud when you're there. The sounders play in front of a crowd double our size so they will be used to noise. But being loud can make communication on the field hard. That's about all we can do.
You can find out what Hotel they are staying in and crank call their rooms late at night. Drive or walk around their hotel with an airhorn. Send a WAWA hoagie to their room so they get diahrea and can't play the next day.
think there was a tweet about a cup tifo meeting happening pregame sunday wouldn't a black out just look like empty seats? needs to be a lighter color I think
Someone tweeted last week that there was only about 15 tickets left for sale in TRE. I don't know how true that is
that was before the STH spots were released. as of now, judging by the interactive chart, its about half full
I think your leadership should be awfully concerned that it can't fill a few sections of the stadium for the most important game this team has ever played. The SoBs could start by, I don't know, acknowledging the game exists on their website for starters? Even the Union FO has finally done that. A few mentions on Twitter that are quickly buried isn't cutting it. Perhaps they could also phone the FO and demand an explanation as to why this game is not being advertised in print or online media anywhere. All I've seen so far is a cheap flyer handed out at the last regular season game.
I don't represent or hold an office in any form with SoB so I'm not sure why you quoted me in this. But here's where you can contact them: http://www.sonsofben.com/leadership/
the newest SOB newsletter says there are "more than 500 seats" in TRE still available for the final. "more than 500" i counted over 200 unsold in 138/139.
On my last check this morning there were 466 open seats in TRE. 140 = 27 139 = 121 138 = 110 137 = 28 136 = 60 135 = 84 134 = 36
thats alot. this needs to be fixed. my friend in Seattle is one of the heads of gorilla fc, and hes already throwing jabs at me. "if we had it here...."
Inspired by @celt1997 and my desire to avoid any real work at the office today... We're "down" to 421 opean seats in the TRE. 140 = 27 20 139 = 121 117 138 = 110 95 137 = 28 24 136 = 60 55 135 = 84 78 134 = 36 32
