Dunga was unlucky in both Copas. Eliminated in handball situations both times, Thiago's PK against Paraguay and Ruidiaz hand goal on Sunday. Neymar was suspended early in the Group stage in 15 and absent in 16. Dunga can't be blamed for Alisson's frango againt Ecuador either for those who think that goal was legit. Our performance at WCQ was mediocre and inexcusable. Still I would've given him one last chance at the Olympics and I do believe we made progress from Copa 15.
Not funny at all if you are a real Brazil fan and were in the stadium - he could not score in a brothel.
You can blame Dunga for Alisson considering he should not be the number 1 goalkeeper and Dunga made that decision.
Meeting with Tite ended after 3 hrs and reports say there hasnt been an agreement. A bit worrying, no?
Probably normal. They need to negotiate. I am sure Tite is aware of the BS inside CBF and has his demands starting with who he wants to bring in.
Maybe in one sense. But to me it's a sign Tite's not an idiot. If you go to an organization like CBF and just sign an agreement you're just going to be the next in a long line of coaches who don't get the right environment to work with a national team. Maybe he signs later this week, maybe he doesn't. But I'd be worried if he went in and signed right away. Then he's in it only for the money and we're still ********ed.
^Good point. Tite isn't an idiot. I do have concerns about tite getting the job though. He is defensive minded. He "studied" in Europe for 2 years. He organisation and counter attacking tactics. The major European teams have made it there business to beat and unlock defensive organised teams. There has to be imagination...Brazil must go back to attack minded football or it will fail imo. I wouldn't mind at all if cuca gets the job
If Tite isn't given the freedom and autonomy he demands to be the NT manager, I'd rather he refuse the job. Clubismo asides, that CBF leaders are so arrogant that despite 2014 and the failures of Era Dunga II that they would insist on dictating to him - a successful manager - how to work is preposterous. Then again, this is CBF.
Initial reports said Tite might want Edu as technical director and some reports said CBF already picked Leonardo. We'll see what happens.

Com indefinição sobre Tite, Rogério Micale será o técnico do Brasil na Olimpíada https://t.co/seBazGZGfq pic.twitter.com/MMMY8dYl3c— ge (@geglobo) June 15, 2016
They must figure out how to get rid of all the cartolas of cbf- del nero, coronel antunes, etc... Then we might start to see a good seleção emerge with Tite & Co
I read that Tite himself said he wanted Micale to be the Olympic team manager. It shows that he's a manager's manager: he himself wouldn't want to build a team over 1 year, working hard and researching and testing players, only to lose his job to some other manager. Moreover, regardless of Brazil's Olympic fortunes or of how long Micale works as a CBF team manager, Tite does not wish to create tension with a co-worker. And this will allow him to focus strictly on the main national team (even though Brazil has no games for the time being).
I don't know why Micale wasn't the head coach from the beginning. He has a better knowledge of the talent and he worked with most of them.

Some commentators are against Tite taking the position on grounds that however honest, hardworking, and serious he is (and regardless of how successful he is), he will be simply used by CBF's leaders as a shield - so that if Brazil does poorly even with Tite, CBF leadership can say, "don't look at us; we gave you the manager you all wanted."
