Barrios and Perez getting lots of minutes together at Boca would be perfect for the NT, best options for overhauling our Sanchez/Abel

    Gago is real injured.

Nandez in this moment is the starter............but It seems according to rumours that Guillermo wants a player there like sebas with more pause.

Between the League and Copa Libertadores matches he should see some playinng time one would imagine. How much or little depends on the manager, injuries, and of course how he impresses.

To think that Arsenal couldn't buy him because of a visa.

Guillermo is surely testing Cardona's fitness .... that's a lot of minutes for Cardona in this team. Not complaining but it's obvious they don't have too many that can mark the difference. How did Seba look?

Yesterday was proved that the most important of that team is wilmar barrios

Well what I witnessed for Barrios vs Alianza (Peru) was impressive. The guy was everywhere. I know the AMF/ST usually get he MOTM awards but he was key to Boca's constant counter-attack. He's got a spot in the WC for sure --very few playing at that level in that position in South America. This is why I mentioned maybe a good idea for Seba to move because he's lost so much time (injury is a big part of it of course) but he's never been close to the level of the 3 starting Colombians while at Boca. He's currently in their shadows and I just hope he has the mental fortitude to have a lot of patience or just move on and start fresh elsewhere. With Gaga and PPerez likely to return soon, I don't see him getting much of a nod for the rest of the season.

    Alerta Gago

El volante sintió en la práctica un pinchazo en la rodilla y abandonó el entrenamiento para someterse a unos estudios.

The thing is they keep playing Sebas in that same spot as Barrios, hoping he can play it like Gago. He can't. And he most definitely can't do what Barrios does.

I agree, he needs to move ASAP

Gago is out for 2 months minimum. Seba will have his chances.... feel bad for Gago. Career plagued with big injuries.

I mean was a bad move for 2 Colombian CMs that are on the NT to the same team and compete for minutes.

Sad because I thought Perez would be a starter for us in russia

his real tragedy wasnt the move.

Was his injured that left him out for a year.....the club is worried because his veganism and he lost a lot of weight because osf this from what ive read

Actually nandez was bought because of his injury.

Barrios and Perez cant competive for the same spot.....guillermo knows, but pekerman not realy.

    What do you mean?
It made sense at the time. Pablo Perez was believed to be going, Betancur was supposed to be leaving for Juve much earlier, and Gago started that season injured.

I'll also add, Seba was the main 'ask' from Boca. Seba was at the time playing amazing futbol. Barrios was an after thought and brought on based on Serna's pitch to the hire-ups at Boca to give him a try.

Boca lost and Juniuor have a golden chance to qualify to second round.

But sebastian was the best player of the team and a lot of people critiqued Guillermo because took him out.

He made nice tackles and good passes.....he is replacing barrios and havent been that bad taking account the differenct charateristics of the player.

Yo they gave Tevez a 3!!! Haha wow!!!

Also great news for Perez hope that means he has a shot at Boca next season. Hopefully Barrios goes to Europe and Perez can take his spot tho they are also looking at Duque from Millos
