Scarfing ATX

There's a group of Eberly's Army members and Austin Aztex supporters who are going to hit downtown Austin tomorrow to scarf some local monuments. We're going to meet at 3:00 p.m. at the statue of Angelina Eberly (on Congress, between 6th and 7th Streets) at 3:00, and will then go scarf the statues of Willie Nelson and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Afterwards, we'll go grab a pint! This is a great event to show Austin that the Aztex have returned to town.



So come on down and join us tomorrow. It's the right way to start a weekend filled with soccer in ATX!!

 

It's pretty simple, and a common thing in cities with teams. You put a scarf on a prominent landmark, get a picture, then take the scarf away. No different that someone going up to get a picture of the landmark.
