Done Transfers - Saad Abu Amir ( Iraq ) moves fro Qadsiyah to Ahli Jeddah. Nasser Shamrani to move Al Ain UAE on six month loan.
I don't know who is the responsible person or persons at the helm in Al Hilal who is / are destroying club's performance and putting future at stake... Why good players are let go?... Why potential players career is destroyed?... Why useless and over-rated players are given undue / undeserved contracts or contracts renewed ?... Whoever the culprit at the helm in making such miserable decision should be terminated from further services otherwise, Al Hilal will become over-rated team with nothing to show and to be proud of in future. Following is the list of renowned Good Players that were Let go by Al Hilal that I recall: 1. Top of the List is "Fahad Al Ghashyan"... He was a Gem of a player and no Saudi player ever replaced him... 2. Muhammad Luft 3. Ahmed Bahja (Moroccan Player) 4. Dokhi Following players career was destroyed or was about to be destroyed: 1. Saad Al Harthi 2. Hamad Al Hamad 3. Yousuf Al Salem (now back in Al Ittifaq) Over-rated: 1. Salman Al Faraj 2. Abdul Malek Al Khaibri 3. Defender No. 5 (forgot his name) 4. Abdulla Autef Al Hilal should really think again on developing home grown talent instead of getting foreign imports to get the job done.
It's difficult to determine one reason for that but yeah the players don't learn the football basics and to live a disciplinary life in the proper age (some of them never do obviously), but in the last decade or so I think the financial side played a major role for not going abroad. It's a bit similar like the English players in UK, a lot of them are probably not as good as the players in Spain or Germany but they are getting paid quite handsomely so they tend to stay there even if going abroad will improve them as players despite getting less money. It won't happen in a day or two but if more players go to UAE, Qatar or some smaller European clubs or even lower division of some European league (not for the shady business to re-sign players like it's done here) then that could be a good start.
Good Afternoon, does anyone happen to know how I can watch the Al Shabab vs Al Ettifaq game that is currently playing? 2 players that I follow recently got signed by Al Ettifaq and I would like to see their games if possible.
Routine wins for Hilal , Ittihad and Ahli but ofcourse Nasser looses to Qadsiyah which cost there coach job..
Also, Eisa Al Mehyani went from League top goalscorer with Al Wehda to being a forgotten bench player at Al Hilal within like...one or two seasons?
Come to think of it, both Al Hilal and Saudi National Team's main players are 30+ .... Osama Howsawi, Alkhaibri, Shamrani, etc... is real talent become scarce in Saudi clubs ?
Talent is going down for sure. We are not having any stand out player in last couple of seasons specially in striking positions. We got Yahya, Naif, Fahd , Nawaf and many more in the previous seasons but they are the same list we got now..
There's plenty of talent in the Saudi league, the reason that the NT doesn't have them is because if you're not in Hilal, Nasr, Shabab, Ahli or Ittihad, good luck getting on the national team because for some reason we don't have scouts or anything to look for better players. Most coaches come to Saudi Arabia with little knowledge of the league and just use the same players the last coach used or those recommended to them by the staff, who tend to be fans of the big 5 clubs. This goes double for the NT which has an even greater turnover of head coaches. New talent comes but they are shut out by coaches playing it safe and selecting old veterans because why the ******** not? They can't develop young talent! If he doesn't win the league and 100+ trophies, the club VIPs will just sack him and get a new coach. The players are getting too old? Find a new young player from one of the smaller clubs and force them to sell! That always works! After all, if you don't play for a big club, you'll never be on the national team! So young players will always accept these offers. This culture of "win now, think about the future later" is killing Saudi football.
Pretty straight results - Hilal 1-1 Qadsiyah Rountine win for Ahli in Jeddah derby over Ittihad 4-1 Nasser 3-0 Khaleej Plus , Waleed Abdullah moves to Nasser once for all
Alhilal should find a replacement against below players soon as they are over age: 31 years = Abdullah Al Maiouf 33 years = Osama Hawsai 30 Years = Abdullah Al Zori 31 Years = Abdulmalek Al Khaibri 31 Years = Abdulmajeed Al Ruwaili
Very impressive game going on right by Al Wehda against one of the big teams Al Nasr... Wehda leading 1-0 thanks to unimpressive defending by Omar Al Hawsavi (who as usual has no clue of the attacking opposition player running on his back / side towards the goal)... his mistake cost Al Nasr dearly... He also did similar mistake when he played in for KSA against Iraq and it was lucky for KSA that Iraqi forward Yasin did not connected to the ball otherwise, it was a definite goal... Also, Al Wehda goal keeper is impressive so far as well Al Wehda's defense... and must admit the Al Shamikh in Al Wehda has all the potential to be one of the best players in years to come... Nasr is out of clue how to score right now... Sahlawi is no where to be seen in this match as posing any danger... Jibrin from Al Wehda is also playing a game of his time... very good performance from Al Shamikh and Tariq Jibrin... Kamil Al Nur is also playing very well... Nasr needs Ahmed Al Fraidy to salvage a draw at least... and he's just in right now...
