    Translation:Goakeepers: Waleed Abdullah,Mabrouk Zaid,Mansour Najae

    Defenders:Redha Tuker,Osama Hawsawi,Majed Mershedi,Naif Al Qadi,Hamad Al Mountashri,Abdullah Shuhail,Abdullah Al Zouri,Hassan Mauth,Mohammed Massad,Hussein Abdul Ghani

    Midfielders:Tayseer Al Jasim,Khaled Aziz,Manaf Abu Shugair,Saud Khariri,Ahmed Otaif,Abdul Latif Al Ghannam,Saheb Al Abdullah,Mohamed Shalhoub,Manousr Al Harbi,Abdul Rahman Al Qahtani

Forwards:Sultan Al Nemri,Yasser Al Qahtani, Malek Mauth,Nasser Al Shamrani,Abdul Aziz Al Saraan, Naif Hazazi

    Now for my opinion:
Pros:I'm glad Mohammed Noor is out. He was shit when he came back to the NT and had a huge scuffle with Ittihad and just showed up for training a few days ago IIRC.

Glad Hassam Mauth and Mohamed Massad are in. Hopefully one of them replaces Nami as a permanent right back.

I'm still happy Obdoh Otaif is injured. Yes I know I'm a horrible human being.

    Mabrouk Zaid is back.

Cons:What the ******** are Abdul Latif Al Ghannam,Saheb Abdullah and Mohamed Al Shalhoob doing anywhere near the NT list? hopefully they'll be cut from the squad when the final list is released.

    No Ahmed Al Mousa

    Who's Mansour Al Harbi?

I say if M. Nour is not in the squad then it's a major mistake as Nour is the man in form even though he has attitude but NT needs him .... though Shalhoub is an excellent choice / replacement for Nour ... Also, excellent to see that Malek Mouath is back in the squad, his combination with Naif Hazzazi or Nasser Al Shamrani will be lethal against any team

Saad Al Harthi has just recovered but he was out for months! He should play some competitive games with Al Nasr and get his fitness and scoring instinct before being let back into the NT.

Suprised Montashri got on the starting line-up.

And why is he playing Massed on the left wing? Isn't he a right back?

BAHRAIN suffered a 0-2 defeat last night to Hungarian premier league club Lombard Papa TFC in a friendly match played in Kapfenberg near Vienna, according to the Bahrain Football Association.

The tie was the first of three tune-up games for the national soccer squad, who are in the middle of a three-week training camp in Austria under head coach Milan Macala.

The 66-year-old Czech yesterday fielded over 20 players in the match. He substituted the entire starting 11 at half-time.

Lombard Papa - who play in Hungary's top professional soccer league, the Soproni Liga - were in control for much of the clash, although Bahrain had a few cracks at goal but failed to capitalise.

The nationals are set to play another two friendlies over the coming days prior to their return to Bahrain on Wednesday next week.

On Sunday, they take the field against Italian champions Inter Milan. The match against the European giants is expected to be televised live in Bahrain.

Their final friendly on Tuesday will be up against Austrian Bundesliga outfit SC Magna Wiener Neustadt.

The Bahrainis are in camp preparing for their do-or-die Asian playoff matches against Saudi Arabia next month for Fifa World Cup qualification.

The squad for the Bahrain play-offs has been announced. No surprises other than the omission of Khalid Aziz. I'm getting the feeling Peseiro is not a big fan.

Bahrain faced Inter and will face Kenya and Iran in preperation. And we get Malayasia B...

I know they don't want to overdo it and have fatigue and injuries for the Bahrain match but come on! At least get Malaysia A!
