if callejon wasnt so bad mertens and insigne would have had a 2v1 situation with the gk after beautiful build up play by the entire team. Some times its just as simple as one player being too shit and callejon is that player - no wonder spain refuse to call him.
why doesnt rugani get a red card for stopping last man (a goal actually) and K2 does (for stopping a play reina picked up the ball in)? why doesnt pjanic get a red card and Vecino gets (a wrong) one? Why doesnt lucas leiva get a penalty? How is a legitimate penalty for Fiorentina being annulled after Juventus players complain? How is Bernadeschi punching the ball with his hand in the penalty box not a penalty? History to repeat itself Open your eyes.
Mertens disallowed goal is the exact same sitation Douglas costa scored against Inter, except Matuidi had actual influence on the play
Trust me man, I'm well aware of the history of the league. But what is the official reason the goal is disallowed? What does the ref put in his report? Cause I can't think of anything. Mertens is onside when the ball is kicked and the ball comes off a samp player, he controls it with his body not his hands. What could they possibly say was against the rules?
a Napoli player interfered and caused the "bad header" that ended up in front of mertens. absolutely bs but nonetheless the only possible explanation
It doesn't look like they're doing much to deal with the water-logged right side of the pitch (now our left). Calle will save us with a corner to Milk, K2 or Albiol. Mertens looked pretty good.
Well guys this is it amazing season. Not be a downer but Juve is going to drop big money this summer.... sigh
They still have to pay for Douglas Costa, who arguably was the difference that pushed them ahead of us in the end. If we had a sparkplug like Politano over Callejon, we might've done it. I'd rather have a fit Ghoulam than any new purchase though. Anyway there are rumors that they are offloading fat judas. It's going to be an interesting summer transfer season.
