And wasn’t he doing relatively well at FAS before leaving to join Edmonton?

Pretty much agree with this. I remember the hype on this forum, circa 2009 when he first emerged.

Bonilla, Granitto and now Corea. Terrible transfers thus far this year.

Bonilla may get a better club opportunity after this he has been doing well in thailand. That league is scouted by other leagues unlike the npsl

Jaime Alas doesn't score often but he's always the best player on the field for los Rojos.

The starting 11 is pretty foreign; with Panamanians who will play in the WC and a good Mexican striker.

Better than the Portuguese league though? Thailand just feels like a setback to me.

Jaime Alas suffered a knee injury during his team's victory in the weekend jornada.

He will most likely miss el clásico v Comunicaciones next Sunday.

He's still being evaluated so hopefully nothing serious

This makes those npsl signings standout. I mean those guys couldn’t find any usl club to take them

Does anyone know if Andres Hernández is still with River Plate? They are playing in the GA cup and River has a team there. Think he could be a part of it.

So I clicked on the article that was posted in the 2017 one and saw he signed onto the 5th division team. The GA team is the 6th division. Clicked on his Facebook, he has signed a new contract and is now with the 4th division team. So, maybe soon we can see him invited to some NT youth camps if we ever have any.

Kevin Santamaria team Suchitepequez are relegated to the second division of Guatemala, He will defintley leave the club the question will be will he stay in Guatemala , look for opportuntiy abroad or return to El Salvador.

Jaime Alas Municipal missed the finals, is it possible due to the poor performance, he might be forced to leave as part of a clean out ? if he does, would he remain in Guatemala, look aborad or return to el salvador

It sounds like Kevin will more than likely stay in Guate since his family is already settled and he wouldn’t want to uproot them. As for Jaime and Municipal he’s is well liked by fans and the media sees him as a high performer so it sounds more like a coaching change is in the wings.

Fiirst relegation for Suchi in 18 years. They're not some random "yo-yo club" and won a championship in 2016. They'll be back.

Hernán Medford has ruined Municipal single handedly. Amazing how you can finishe in 9th place with decent offensive power (players). Jaime Alas job security is fine... On radio talk shows about la selección you will often hear the classic "Lástima que Jaimito no es chapín".

12 team league... 2 automatically relegated. Marquense is the other relegated, who had not been relegated since their first ever promotion in the late 90s. But they're not as historic as Suchi

I wish Malacateco would be relegated, they barely got saved. They're a border narco club (MX border).
