As long as he starts and scores some goals then this is a good loan even if the team is doomed to be relegated, this a good league and he needs to show his worth.

If he plays well then he might just get offers from some 1st division teams in the summer.

That almost never happens the NASL just isn't scouted by anyone but MLS and even then at least for Central American guys that aren't in a spot like Ceren was it's not likely they will move to the MLS. You add in the fact that the seasons are short and this is an awful move. He would be better off at a small league in Europe than this

I think this is still a good move from the last club he was in. It's not going to be a long season. He should try his best to score as many he can with the short amount of time to move to another club better than Cosmos. Avoid NASL and USL. If he can pull it off in the short amount of time I think could get signed by another club quick.

I agree but he might struggle if the midfield not doing their job or giving him the passes most of the time to get the goal or he might have to end up fighting most of the time for the ball. Hopefully he can score a lot in Turkey and another club in the 1st division there can sign him. I don't think Portugal is working out for him unless it's just the club.

Ah okay that's good. I hope they don't do a 2nd loan which happens in clubs sometimes. I think that happened to Rafael Burgos at one point in his career.

They tried that but it was rejected outright. This was when he went to Gyori and wasn't getting playing time due to the club being fully stocked with strikers.

It has been pretty dead on here despite activity by our guys abroad so I'll begin the updates.

    -Bonilla
He made his debut just this weekend despite that they were pummeled 4-1. He played the entire game and drew the PK that got the GK sent off his teammate would miss the PK but they would score just a few minutes later (same guy who missed the PK). Albeit they never took advantage being up a man and goals #3 and 4 happened not how he wanted to start off and now they take on the leaders.

    -Pineda
Tough loss as they were defeated by Gil Vicente, he came in the 64th minute as for that can't say how he performed this puts them all the way down to seventh with 39 points after clinging in between spots 3-4 for the past few match dates. The current top two have already broken past the 50 point mark.

After what seemed to be a promising way to go starting he has pretty much been coming off the bench for quite some time I'm okay if it helps get him accustomed to the Portuguese style of play and hopefully if he remains can make a push to return to the starting line up.

-Jaime he played the entire game in Municipal win over Petapa 2-0.

-Lester Blanco played the entire game that ended 1-1 against Alajuelense

-Pablo Punyed he received a few minutes (not specified) in the teams 2-0 victory over IA Akranes in one of the two cups they play before the start of the regular season.

Since it's now confirmed that Eriq Zavaleta has agreed to represent ES and will join the NT for this month's friendlies, he can now be discussed freely ITT and be considered a Salvadoran abroad.

    Welcome aboard.

Darwin Ceren went as an unused sub for San Jose in their 1-0 win, hope that this doesn't become a trend.

Nelson Bonilla did not play today. He has played one game since his move to Turkey (and that was the first game after the winter break) he has not even been called up since. Unless he is injured this does not look good. I must say that I did not liked his move from one of the top leagues in the world (in a nice city, with good weather, good food, nice people, similar language) to a second division that is not considered among the better ones, all just to ride the bench. Hey, what do I know...
