    I could see some smaller clubs (who have no real hope of getting promoted or being successful in top divisions) going for this if the money was there. Ultimately it would be a side note in European football though, doubt many would care too much.

    The current system is the epitome of obsoleteness, mediocrity and boredom.

    We're not in 1955 anymore Dorothy! The "Champions League" is a joke. The main domestic leagues and cups are an even bigger joke, the smaller domestic leagues and cups are not even describable in how pathetic they are.

    Football without borders now! Platini, king of the cavemen, go crawl back to your cave! Clubs of the G14, show some balls for once in your life!
