I was happy to see the article about RSL and their partnership with the local AYSO (The URL is too long, but you can find it on http://real.saltlake.mlsnet.com/MLS/rsl/news/). I hope however, that they don't consider this complete. I grew up playing soccer, but I never played on an AYSO team, it was always the (Murray) City League. I don't know, but I'd guess that more than 80% of those that play soccer just play for the local rec league. Where I live (Spanish Fork), Jr. Jazz is the city basketball league, and game trips are printed in every community bulletin. This is the kind of relationship they need. I trust they are working on it, but I worry someone might think this AYSO tie-in is sufficient. With Dave Checketts, the author of Jr. Jazz, I trust this is the goal, but Pastarino, is the one who needs to make this happen.
