So what I'm hearing is a 2-1 loss because D.C. (see 2013) As an aside, I'm at Centurylink today with my sons. Wondering if the teams can tie 4-4 with one or two sent off per team.
Why the ******** is Wingert on the field? How many stupid, unnecessary, weak mistakes and turnovers does he have to commit before he gets benched? It's a crime he continues to get starts ahead of Acosta.
Wingert gives it up like a $2 wore while Beltran is getting used and abused down the right side like a $2 whore.
His attempted "tackle" of Paul Arriola - when Wingert advanced into DC's half, slid awkwardly, and had Arriola just waltz past him - was particularly awful.
We were considering attending this game (2 hour drive). But, I had a feeling the weather wouldn't cooperate. After the debacle of delays at Columbus that we endured in attending last year, I was not interested in taking my family to another. We called it correctly. And, RFK is a miserable place to be on rain delay. It is dreary as the gates of hell, dirty, smells like decades of stale beer spilled on the ground, enclosed so no breeze flows through so the humidity even in modest temperatures sucks the very life out of you... Can you tell I can't wait for DC to get a new stadium for when RSL next visits?
I am missing this one since I'm at a writing retreat up in the mountains. I'll be checking this thread periodically for updates if anybody cares to post them.
There is RSL-at-Cruz-Azul-in-the-CCL amounts of water on the field. Amazing stuff, better than the game was really.
That's epic. We don't see games officially delayed often, do we? I can't remember it happening recently. Edit: I don't mean rain delay, but ending the match and rescheduling...
I'll be pretty surprised if they restart... I mean, I guess it could happen if they have rollers to clear water quickly off the field... an alternative route for the players to the field (because the player tunnels are under about 3 feet of water right now).
Annnnnnddddd it's been postponed. I can't recall an RSL match ever being postponed, we even had that crazy delay in Chicago, but that game still finished.
Interesting. First postponed game I remember. I guess I can go back to my creative endeavors without worry.
And Columbus, for a wind storm. If I remember right, unless you mean that we have not had a game that we had already started and had to postpone it. Then I have no clue. On a funny side note for the Colorado broadcast they had Luis Gil listed twice in the graphic
The game will be finished tomorrow at 7 PM Eastern time. https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2017...stponement-dc-united-real-salt-lake-match-rfk
