Since @rslfanboy mentioned starting a PBP thread, here you go. I don't know what to think about this game, so I'll say that RSL wins 1-0 because Pioneer Day fireworks.
I'm calling RSL wins this one in a surprise 2-1 result. Are there fireworks this game? I thought there wouldn't be. The game won't end until 10:30 or well after 11 if it goes to extra time.
Lest anyone think that RSL is the only MLS team playing in this competition, last night, Chicago lost 2-0 to Cruz Azul and LAG won 3-2 after penalties over Tijuana, so LigaMX 1, MLS 1. Neither MLS side took this game that serious since they both played reserve sides.
doesn't look like ticket sales are going great. The upper deck isn't available - and not because of it being sold out - and the lower bowl is half full at best
That certainly is different than what Petke communicated after the Minnesota game. I hope that Tigres, at least, plays their starters.
Pretty much from the time of your post, our passing became abysmal. First 10-12 minutes were pretty good, then . . . ugh. Still, no good chances for Tigres either.
That's some amazing firepower on the field for Tigres. Real big money, big time players. So far, so good on that end. Older, slower Kyle Beckerman in for Everton Luiz. Probably best for our league game this weekend.
Right in front of me and I don’t know how they called that. I’l go straight to conspiracy theory. Then Plata hits post a few minutes later.
