More like the statistical or programming meaning, that they are unrelated or independent of one another.
Oh, I was thinking of the electromagnetic meaning where the E-field and H-fields of a propagating wave are orthogonal from each other but contribute to the wave being able to propagate thru a medium.
Wayne Rooney's Audi Player Index for the game was a whopping 1797. Marcelo Silva clocked in at an almost equally impressive negative 1094. Brooks at 229 was our best performer. https://matchcenter.mlssoccer.com/matchcenter/2019-03-16-dc-united-vs-real-salt-lake/audi-index
I have to admit that I rarely check that out. DCU had 10 players score higher than our best. I note that Baird and Rimando also received negative scores, which surprises me.
Every point system like that is going to have flaws/areas it over emphasizes. The audi player index is especially bad, though.
The Audi "Who's the Most Popular Player" Index. Their methodology doesn't seem to be all that clear to the point that Messi could come to MLS and ride the pine and still win the Audi Player Index.
Hmm, I find it quite clear. Click on anyone and the exact numbers they used for various actions on the field pop up. You might not like the values they give to things, but it's not a mystery how they generate the final number. For Silva: Successful tackle = 52 points each x 2 this game = +104 Successful pass in own half = 3 points each x 20 this game = +60 Unsuccessful pass in own half = -25 points each x 4 this game = -100 Etcetera.
Nope. It's called Maxwell's Equations. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maxwell's_equations And here's a YouTube video about Mad Max's Equations, now with a proper British accent. And a custom GIF animation.
Actually they changed the number from 999. Its now easier to remember than ever. Just dial 0118 999 881 999 119 725 3
