Here wraps up our three-games-in-nine-days run, with the last two on the road. Damir is suspended so we wonder if Beckerman or Everton is more likely to partner Besler (because, please not Portillo and Besler). Squad rotation means several players are relatively well rested, though maybe Rusnak was too banged up last game.
A healthy Portillo is probably a better choice than a gimpy KB or Everton. Plus it would give the FO and Dunny the opportunity to again tell us all how deep this roster is. If Portillo can put in a full second consecutive shift without getting a red card it would be promising.
This should be interesting. Has Savarino played that role for us before? Petke didn't seem too confident in the pregame interview. I don't have a great feeling about this one.
Mess is right. A scoreless first half would be an achievement. Looked promising on Wednesday though too, until late in stoppage time.
Yeah, lucky to be even at half. Wonder if we have the right shoes for the surface. NYRB turned up the heat and started pressing really high and overloading one side and it gave us fits for a while, but RSL has responded ok since weathering all that. The final pass/shot in the offensive third is still missing. Many of our shots, crosses or setup passes have been pretty badly off.
What a messy game. Ref letting everything go, nearly. Watch the ref become tight for the second half. We kept RB out because of Rimando's brilliance and occasional Red Bull incompetence in the attack. We look like a road weary team.
What's up with players constantly slipping on the pitch? Stronger start to this half. Looking more connected and collected.

Clown Shoes Defending - literally (goal one) and figuratively (goal two). We look tired and disorganized, I am going to do something else.
It's been coming... that it was owngoal off ownassist is not surprising... the let down for the followup, however... <sigh>
Even the commentators have lost interest in this game. Never heard such long stretches of silence ... Broken only by goal #4. [emoji3064]
Glad I missed this heap of dung. Hind sight is 20/20 but that was some serious lineup screw-uppery if you ask me over the last two games. Back to sucking after the mirage of previous wins. Par for the Petke. As soon as you get a few games above .500 make sure to plummet right back.
Wow. I thought the Montreal effort was garbage. We decided to that light that garbage on fire tongiht. The team has no depth. The starting XI is probably a squad that can make the playoffs. But if it suffers more than one injury or suspension, the team falls apart and has to rely on players who can't play where they're asked to play. Herrera can't play on the left. Lennon cannot play at right back. The offense has NEVER clicked w/ Savarino playing the 10. Baird and Bofo were invisible all night as they got no service from the 10. Sam never saw the ball from any of his fellow attackers. Silva is just unlucky (that's what his 3rd own goal for RSL?) and has no chemistry w/ Nenad. I'm so glad there isn't another game for a few weeks. I don't want to watch this team. I think I'm going to skip the USOC game. I don't want to see another thrashing by LAFC.
