All LA is doing is sending a runner straight upfield in the seam between our outside and center backs, and we can't track him or deal with it. Plus - just like last week - our completion % is low in the attacking third - we seem inclined to give the ball away to them on offense.
We were weak on the flanks last game, and that hasn't improved - then subtract Silva and we're hurting.
Horst looks lost. I think the game plan is to get in the attacking half and then pass the ball to the other team to practice defending (and get beat the same way over and over and over again).
Lifeless and disconnected from the start. The penalty call was legit, but against the flow of the game. We were, therefore, fortunate. Lucky to only be down 1, so it's not out of reach. But, we have to act like we own our home stadium.
So can I add an avatar for you of someone covering their eyes? Between you and wrennywren and phills, the left side of the page where poster names and avatars are listed is very bland.
Did you see Horst going too slowly on that one to cut the angle of a possible cross? So when Glad was beaten for pace, Horts could not help. He saw it eventually and sped up, but too late.
