There's at least 3-5 people on these boards that I've met in person. Just ask them! I've been told I look like Frodo. So... yeah... Nothing to be ashamed of about your shoe game. I'm sure it's fire!
Ha, yup, I was at that game. That was my "one rsl home game a year" trip I used to take every summer when I lived in PDX.
Do they have a Kirkland brand shoe? I know they seem to have all kinds of Kirkland products, so I'm kind of curious.
Hey look! NEWS! Article is about contract negotiations with Beckerman and Rimando. They say no deal will be reached until the season has concluded. That's about it.
Anyone been to Castro Sports in West Valley? Looks like they are open, and they specialize in soccer gear.
Read this somewhat interesting mlssoccer article and it brought few things to mind: 1. It always does my heart good to be reminded we hold that impressive goals-allowed league record. I count it as something of a trophy for that sadly trophyless 2010 season. 2. It does my heart especial good to read how SKC’s “historically great defense” can push to be considered our bridesmaid on that one.* 3. Seeing Lodeiro’s historic rate of being fouled made me wonder if that justifies his insufferable behavior—unless his antics are what make him a target. Which came first? Who knows. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ *Yes, SKC lurkers [I’m looking at you, Feilhaber; I know you read these], take whatever satisfaction you want out of having a special place in my mind. I do think about you more than any other team besides RSL. Which leads me to comment on Benny’s inclusion with the USMNT: Weirdly, I’m happy for him.
RSL has a chance to win some silverware already this year - or whatever the equivalent is for MLS.com's award... https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2017...referral&utm_content=news&utm_campaign=unpaid
I know. Most MLS site polls are free from such unprincipled tampering. Goal of the Week rarely, if ever, goes to something relatively pedestrian from a star or a player on a more popular team. Hence my current shock, but maybe Atlanta fans will calm down over time and become as even-handed as say, Seattle's.
Only 28% of the vote going towards Petke currently. We need to step it up! He's clearly the better dressed of the two.
Rusnak assisted the third goal against Malta. Looked very professional. Clip borrowed from reddit: https://imgtc.com/w/ZfEPEXr
Rusnak's Slovakia finished 2nd in their group at 18 points. Normally this would be a good thing in UEFA qualifying. Except only 8 of the 9 second place teams move on to the playoffs. The lowest point total team gets eliminated. That will be Slovakia unless Greece somehow doesn't win against Gibraltar. The same Gibraltar that has a -40 GD and zero points. So, sadly, no Rusnak in the World Cup next year. But also, great news everyone, no Rusnak in the World Cup next year.
I think UEFA does a weird thing with eliminating points accrued against the last place team in each group... But that fails to help them.
