Saturday. 1) Fly to Salt Lake City. 2) Greet in-laws. 3) Eat at the Chow Truck. 4) Attend the game at the RioT! I am soooo excited. And to see my in-laws of course. Definitely that too. But I get to sing with the fans, and sit in wonder at this stadium being on the Wasatch Front. Enjoy warm-ups, and cheer on the team. I can't wait.
Good old MD4 time zone. This one will be a bit annoying given the kickoff time. Gonna be a lot of sun in the eyes of people on the east end. Gonna be real jealous of 15's hot dog stuffing, straw stealing face. It'll also be weird to get home a full 90-120 minutes earlier than a usual kickoff time. Shame we don't have the kids for these games. I really want to see Lennon and Savarino on the wings.

I always thought we were a little erratic in thread times. I could be wrong, but I thought some years we were pretty good about having one up by Monday or Tuesday, then other times we'd slack off and finally put on up 1-2 days before the game.
Personally, when the team is in good form, I look forward to the next match thread, when the team pretty much sucks like this year, I am surprised how early the threads start.
I've been tempted to start this thread for several weeks. It's the Journey to Utah for a Game game after all, and I might be a little zealous about the whole enterprise.
Where I'm going the closest buffalo wild wings is probably 2.5 hours away. This is a place where we didn't even have a phone line until a few years ago.

Philly and RSL matches are a crap-shoot, almost always reds and draws. I think we will see the same this year. However, Philly is doing really well right now.
