They just dressed as Kyle for halloween, that's all.

The best part of the program was the Smiths accompanied promo for the Manchester Derby, which was just weird. I thought it had to be done by the Men in Blazers - but no - it was straight up NBC.

 

Well, they needed something from Manchester, so I'm sure they really wanted to go with the Stone Roses, but were worried nobody was familiar enough with the Madchester bands, and had to go mainstream with Morrissey.

A quick googly shows me that they're from London.

But what's the difference, really? London to Manchester is the same distance as Salt Lake to Beaver. Stupid Europe.

Mainstream with Morrissey... LOL! I stopped showing a Morrissey video in my classes (Cemetery gates is about plagiarism) because nobody under 25 years old has a clue who he is.

The lack of coming east the past few years makes me sad.

 

Well - Disney canceled next year's preseason cup in Orlando. There was no big option there. Maybe some teams come west to AZ?

 

And one we used to participate in regularly. I believe us playing in that tournament also helped setup up ties with the Carolina Railhawks, and subsequent loans of a few RSL players to them, no?
