i think it is ajoke when a team can finish third from last and protentially become champions you need to join the rest of the soccer world team that finish top of the standings champions simple
Done deal ''the league will move to an apertura/clausura system. The season will be split into two halves — and the winners of the halves will face off in the Soccer Bowl''
for my part i hope tampa win4-0 so at least the 2nd placed team will be champions much better than the third last one. surley more sensible the team with the best record straight into championship final and have play offs to produce the other finalist ie mini league format
My bad. My questions end with question marks. Helps the reader know that I am making an inquiry not making a statement.
Historic Soccer Brands Admiral and Rowdies Re-United The Tampa Bay Rowdies of the North American Soccer League (NASL) have selected Admiral to be the club’s official sportswear and technical kit supplier starting with the 2013 season.
I think Admiral used to make the replica jerseys sold during the NASL heyday, but I'm not 100% sure they ever did the on-field shirts. (Edit: I see the release says they did the 1975 shirts, if they did, it wasn't really obvious.) Speed-Line, Umbro and adidas did them for the original team. I am pretty sure Umbro was doing them by the end of the APSL run. In any case, if Admiral only puts one logo on each shirt, that'll be a huge improvement from Lotto's Put Another Logo On It program.
You're correct about the Kit Suppliers from the past. As for Admiral, this is a quote from the official press release: "Admiral supplied the Rowdies in the club’s original iconic kit when the Rowdies won the NASL Soccer Bowl championship in 1975." http://www.rowdiessoccer.com/index.php?id=52&newsid=3500
Yeah, that means it might be true. Have to check the '75 media guide that has photos of everybody, but it may, in fact, be true now that I think about it. But I don't think Admiral had their logo where it is in these shots of replicas:
I've started a "bring the collars back" campaign on the Mob's facebook page and twitter feed. Feel free to stop by and support if you want those fantastic collars back
NOW they are. They weren't back in the day. You know, when "so-called fans" were actually going to games at Tampa Stadium. TOFFS didn't even exist prior to 1990. TOFFS has made A Rowdies replica for years. I never bought one because I could never tell if it was very good.
I've seen a couple of Rowdies shirts by TOFFS in person these past couple of seasons and I must say they look like the real deal.
Never seen a good photo, that's the only reason I say that. Only seen them folded up. I know TOFFS has some quality stuff, but I don't know how they did on this particular shirt.
