Not a bad step up if indeed 'Veen are interested and pull the trigger. The kid's looked good this season and put his head down, focused, and produced. Great attitude too so I have no qualms if bigger and beater things abound after a good season with Sundsvall.

Scout there was confirmed by club apparently. He got an assist on the day. I've seen nothing more, but it's the weekend.

Sundsvall's manager says that almost every match there are scouts from foreign clubs coming to watch Gall. Besides Heerenveen, this includes FCK of Denmark and Freiburg of the Bundesliga, who were in the stands for Gall's latest match. The two teams atop the table in Sweden, Hammarby and AIK, have also shown interest in Gall.

Freiburg, not too shabby. I'd go for Heerenveen or FCK though.

I happened to catch the second on a really poor stream. Sundsvall really depend on him to create everything. Second straight match where the midfield could not get anything going in the attacking third.

It makes me really wonder how he would fare on a team like Hammarby or Malmö.

currently how is the Swedish league ranked? It's beneath MLS right as well as Norwegian league? I'm still unsure if the Danish league is level with MLS or not. Honestly, I recall the 2000's when we had promising NT players who'd head to Scandinavia. Charlie Davies for example. Michael Parkhurst. They excelled well and it propelled them.

I just looked this up, since I had the impression that Sweden and Norway had fallen off in terms of their league quality, and it looks like that is correct. Sweden is currently ranked 22nd, just behind Poland and just ahead of Azerbaijan. Norway is 29th, just behind Kazakhstan, which I didn't even know was a UEFA member. The Danish league is 17th, Dutch 14th, and Belgian 9th. So, it would be a significant step up if Gall can get a move to Denmark or Holland.
