Got a late cup of coffee in a 2-0 loss. 86' Våra tre byten genomförda. Romain Gall ersätter Anders Christiansen. Och för några minuter sedan kom Egzon Binaku in för Behrang Safari.#KRCGMFF | 2–0 | #UEL— Malmö FF (@Malmo_FF) September 20, 2018
What a weird sub. "Romain, I know we're down two but I'm gonna put you on for four minutes to save the day, OK?"
Is there somebody in here that’s connected with Malmo that can give us some insight into why Romain has been limited in action lately? I refuse to believe that the options on either flanker position are just that much better than him, that he barely deserves to get minutes on this club.
well after that 2 goal game he had recently, i expected him to find playing time more readily. Maybe the club wants to make him "earn it" or maybe they want to give every opportunity to the established players to keep their spots before giving it a newer player??
Starts: Avspark om en timme. Här är startelvan!#MFFKFF pic.twitter.com/H2qyWR58PQ— Malmö FF (@Malmo_FF) September 23, 2018 And he's blond now, if that helps you spot him.
And scores. Shot outside the box that took a deflection going through. 32' MÅL! Romain Gall utökar ledningen med ett långskott.#MFFKFF | 2–0— Malmö FF (@Malmo_FF) September 23, 2018 His 10th goal of the season.
1043912186048000000 is not a valid tweet id Great skill to take the pass off his knee and vision to see his teammate at the top of the box for the dime. Cannot wait to see him play for the US. Could be a game changer for us
Give him credit for going and finding a level where he could get reps. In his sort stint in Columbus you could see the talent but he needed minutes. Happy to see him performing.
That’s just not true. But anyway, as @comoesa says, he’s improved immensely. As I posted early in this thread, he was way out of his depth at NYCFC. But it’s great that he’s doing well now. Who knows - if he does well enough he may get brought back to MLS like Tinny and Berget.
Imo he was. He was the joint top goal scorer in the tournament next to a Hirving Lozano. And he was never at NYCFC?? A move back to MLS would basically be a lateral move. He’s be better off going to the Eridvisie or if possible Bundesliga/Ligue 1/La liga
He spent an entire preseason as a trialist at NYCFC before going to Scandinavia. You missed the snark in the last part of my post about returning because NYCFC signed two of Malmo’s top players, likely clearing the way for Gall to sign there. As for the international youth stuff, we’ll agree to disagree and agree this isn’t the place. Why am I having this discussion? I don’t think you know as much about Gall as I do.
