    The club have officially announced our first summer signing, midfielder Romain Amalfitano on a free from Ligue 2 outfit Reims. An actually poorly-kept secret given this has been reported for months. He'll officially join on July 1.

    Looks like a typical NUFC signing, low risk, high reward.

    To me this further confirms Guthrie's not re-upping (again, a poorly-kept secret).

    Talked to my French contact, coming in handy with all these French signings lately, on RA. He didn't have a lot of info but I still thought I'd pass it on. The one thing he did know for sure is that Romain's personalty is the opposite of his brother Morgan. This is a good thing as Morgan is known as selfish and self absorbed.
