John O'Brien might've adapted to Amsterdam a little too well.

I don't get it! Someone explain! Does he sell drugs now or something?

Last time I saw him, he looked more like The Dude than a professional soccer player.

He's been pretty consistent with Stevenage - DNP, DNP, DNP.

    He sells real estate.

You can draw your own conclusion which is worse.

Well he's been retired for five years now, when did you see him last?

My apologies if this somewhere further back, but I had not seen the end date for Rogers's loan besides "January". It is January 15th.

And with a new middle eastern takeover, he will be busy in January.

I've seen a couple of tweets suggesting he and Leeds have mutually agreed to terminate his contract, a la Findley.

His Brazil chances should be fairly low on his priority list. Finding a club where he can save his professional career should be #1 for Rogers. Best of luck to him.

He needs to make a living first.

Or he can run home again.

At this moment, my bet it's 50/50.

I don't know. He's the kind of player that can always fall back on MLS and count on a decent paycheck for a non DP. I really believe that, and it will likely be there 2-3 years from now as well. We're quick to take back our failed sons. So this move to me is either about getting to Brazil, or maximizing $$ (both in a perfect world).

He always struck me as thinking he's better than he was. Poor soccer IQ. Made meals out of chances left and right, but did show flashes, work pretty hard (if not run real hard), and once in a while do something brilliant.

The hugely positive aspect from teams in Denmark and the Netherlands is that they try to buy cheap and then sell for not-so-cheap but only after teaching young'ish prospects proper soccer.

Heerenveen was a great opportunity for him. He blew it then but there should be some team in Europe willing to take him on and do what Gert Verbeek has done with Altidore.

Of course, it's easier to play out the string in MLS ... until they trade you to nowhere you want to be.

If he re-signed with MLS he'd be assigned a team thru the allocation process correct? I can't imagine any of the upper half of the allocation order wanting to lose their spot to take him at this point.

I'm pretty sure Columbus made him an offer, so they have his rights ala Rico Clark. A Columbus fan may know fo sho.

As a Crew fan, I can say we'd love to trade his rights for a nice draft pick.
