Diez lists 14 players of the age of 20 or under to watch for this upcoming Clausura: Alberth Elis - FW de Olimpia Kevin Alvarez - RB de Olimpia Michael Chirino - RW de Olimpia Kevin Lopez - RW de Motagua Marcelo Pereira - CB de Motagua Klifox Bernardez - LB de Motagua Jhow Benavidez - AM de Real Espana Erick Pena - LB de Juticalpa (on loan from Real Espana) Darvis Argueta - ST de Marathon Joseph Cunningham -LW de Marathon Getsel Montes - DM de Platense Jonathan Paz - CB de Real Sociedad Darixon Vuelto - RW de Victoria Maycol Montero - AM/FW de Vida
So looking at all the talent that we have for the Sub 23 who should be the 3 over age players? Personally I think that Espinoza at Midfield should be Lock plus he would start next to Acosta and that would be the Ideal pair for the senior national team, Maynor and Emilio would be the next two candidates but I would take a CB over a LB and when it comes to Forwards and Wingers no one over age deserves to take a spot away from the young dudes that we have available, I mean imagine if Pinto decides to call up Boniek or Bengtson I would seriously be pissed off.
http://www.diez.hn/legionarios/916597-99/hondureño-samuel-bustillo-jugará-en-murciélagos-de-méxico I've no idea who the hell this guy is, but best of luck to him and I hope he succeeds!
So is every Honduran going to be linked with Tenerife now? http://www.diez.hn/futboldeprimera/...e-rechazó-oferta-del-tenerife-por-el-victoria Is this kid even that good or is it another one those Junior Lacayo super hype thing? I see him getting linked to go to Europe every other day.
You can always count on Olimpia to Produce young talent http://www.diez.hn/futboldeprimera/917860-99/los-canteranos-que-ahora-son-figuras-en-el-olimpia
He left Honduras due to getting death threats, this guy is talented and I hope that he makes it best of luck to him.
I'm bored, so I'm going to post weekly the U-23/20/17 players that got playing time during La Jornada, this week we got: Olimpia 3-1 Real Espana: Por parte de Olimpia - Alberth Elis, Mayron Flores, y German Mejia Por parte de Real Espana - Alvaro Romero, Jhow Benavides, y Bryan Acosta Motagua 2-0 Platense: Por parte de Motagua - Kevin Lopez Por parte de Platense - Dabirson Castillo y Getsel Montes Juticalpa 1-1 Vida: Por parte de Juticalpa - Harold Fonseca Por parte de Vida - Nolberto Garcia, Kevin Maradiaga, Sonny Fernandez, Elder Torres, Bryan Moya, Rodolfo Espinal, Maycol Montero, y Bryan Garcia Real Sociedad 4-0 Victoria: Por parte de Sociedad: Jonathan Paz y Jose Barralaga Por parte de Victoria: Franklin Flores, Emerson Lalin, Marlon Ramirez, Bryan Torres, Edgar Cabrera, Darixon Vuelto, y Junio Lacayo Honduras Progreso 2-1 Marathon: Ninguno por ambos equipos.
As you can see, both teams from La Ceiba continue to push out young talent into their starting XIs. That trend will never cease to continue.
It doesn't surprise me there is a ton of Talent in that region of Honduras and both Vida and Victoria are generally poor teams financially so can't afford to buy players, the sad part is that if either one gets relegated I could easily see them dissolving.
Honduras could play 4 friendlies in Jan/Feb, first confirmed game is in Managua vs Nicaragua on the 27 Bolivia on the 31 and Guatemala on February 3rd and a possibility to play Panama on February 17. Also the Olympic team could play their first two friendlies vs Colombia U23 on February 24 & 27 both games will take place in the USA one in Houston and the other in Miami.
25 yr old Junior Sandoval signs with the Jacksonville Armada of the NASL, I have been wonder where he went he has been inactive since he left Colombia.
http://www.diez.hn/internacionales/...onduras-jugará-a-préstamo-en-segunda-de-suiza Erick Arias going on loan to Chiasso of Second Division Switzerland from third division Spanish side, Jumilla.
This move isn't surprising though sure it's a downgrade from Colombia's 1st division but this the level that has been playing at for years.
http://www.diez.hn/laseleccion/920124-99/las-promesas-del-fútbol-hondureño-que-se-apagaron Man.. that's a horrible horrible track record for players whom played in the U-20 and U-17 for Honduras previous to the UAE U-17 WC.
He still managed to sign with a top CA team, but even if he does well I wouldn't want him to come back to NT.
Like I said before and i'll say it again... Milo is on his way out of Celtic and most likely Europe entirely. Y'all can fail to believe me if y'all want, but he's not getting younger and that Tierny kid seems to have won his job. MLS is his next destination.
It wouldn't be a bad thing for him to land in the MLS considering that it's a better league quality wise as a whole than the SPL.
Good News it looks like Luis Garrido is recovering pretty fast he can already jog on his own two feet, I hope that he can recover well and pick up where he left off.
