The Revs already have posted an interview with Bou? Who is this FO, and what have they done with the old one?!

Wow, what a difference a couple of months makes!

I know it often takes some time to sing a player like this, but really, raise your hand if you think this guy was even on Burns' radar. Yeah, me neither.

So who is he going to push to the bench, Agudelo? Fagundez? Bunbury?

Great news. I'm guessing Fagundez is already on the bench. My hope is that Agudelo goes into the middle behind Gil and Zahibo takes a seat but it will be interesting to watch. One player who hasn't seemed to get an Arena bounce is Penilla. If Christian ups his game then maybe it's Teal and JFCaicedo fighting for one spot.

Some comments by Ives. My hope is that these slights become a thing of the past with this new FO and we start hearing "Remember when the Revs...well no more"

I'm told the #NERevs have completed the transfer of Argentine striker Gustavo Bou from Club Tijuana for a fee between $6-7 million. Bruce Arena really is a miracle worker for getting the historically stingy Revs to spend that kind of money. #MLS

NOW official. And I'm trying to think of the last time we saw Robert Kraft pose with a new #NERevssigning. Probably said "If I'm spending $7 million I better at least get a picture with the guy."

Im so encouraged by the changes in the Revs. I might even go to a game now hehe. Im just wondering what changes this will cause? Im thinking Teal moves outside now and will sub with Diego. I cant help but think about just how good we would have been if all these changes had taken place AND he who shall not be named had been forced to stay here until these changes happened. If this new guy is as good as he appears to be, and we had a guy that could deliver the ball to him, wow.... would we be good!!! I would start going to games again for sure

I really resent Bob Kraft posing for that picture. He's abandoned this team since the signing of JJ and let it run into the ground. Now that things are picking up again ... he's back. Unless he intends to start supporting this team, I wish he would disappear again

Maybe the new regime is encouraging Kraft's visibility by their actions. How many big (cough) announcements during the Burns era merited Kraft's involvement?

This is the kind of move that only other teams made -- until now! The interesting thing is that Arena's arrival has changed the organization more ways than the areas we had hoped for (better on-field product). Just by having Daddy-O Kraft int he picture says he's on board. And someone must have insisted that the optics matter, it is important to send that message to the public.

This is something the tone-deaf Revs never, ever seemed to understand. I don't know if this means they will be more media/public-friendly with information, but it at least seems like a possibility.

I wonder if it’s a Curt Onalfo thing? Not that I’ve any reason to guess that other than job title, but I figure that it’s not Arena directly making all these changes, but the people he brought with him. Curt seems from his title like the best candidate for being responsible for PR changes.

This is fantastic to see. Bou is a legit goal scorer and has produced his whole career. I haven't been this genuinely excited about a revs signing in a long, long time. I see him pushing JF Caicedo to the bench based on Teal's recent form. Watching Gil feeding Bou goals is going to be incredibly fun. I'm hoping we see a Almiron/Martinez type connection between these guys the rest of this season. Get that visa paperwork signed!

Hey, I know the guy is good, but I didn't think he was so good that he could do the job of 3 players at the same time!

Let me elaborate. Fagundez is already finished here. I haven't rated Agudelo since his English odyssey. Bunbury would be a good offensive weapon late in games. So, I could foresee Bou starting, and the other 3 not.
