Can't blame him for taking the red card vs. Barca today, anyone would have done lifted their arm to prevent an open goal. Having said that, he had a really poor game unfortunately. At least, we can depend on Achraf.
Taking the red card there is pointless. Even if Messi misses the penalty, we're still losing, and could use the extra man.
Any update on his injury? If he misses two big international tournaments, he missed euro 2016 due to an injury suffered in the final as well, it's gonna be devastating for him.
I'd be absolutely gutted for him if he misses another major international tournament because of a last-minute injury. Didn't look good yesterday.
BREAKING FROM MARCADani Carvajal will be at the World Cup! pic.twitter.com/NztmTdIdLM— El Madridismo (@ElMadridismo93) May 28, 2018 Dani Carvajal will be out for 2-3 weeks but Lopetegui has decided to count on him and wait for him to recover.[Marca]— El Madridismo (@ElMadridismo93) May 28, 2018
Lopetegui probably knew that he would be coaching Real Madrid. So he is taking his own players to Russia.
Fantastic interview with Dani Carvajal with the guys from the Locker Room in Miami He talks about Spain in the WC, Lopetegui, Zidane, VAR, Navas, Raul, Real Madrid, his last injury, Messi, Cristiano, Chicharito, La Liga vs the Champions, the last penalty call in the WC.
Out with injury again. Could miss 3 months as per some reports. It was Lope's mistake to play him twice in 4 days after having started 8 games at a stretch since the beginning of the season.
Dani Carvajal to the Premier League? But which club? 🤔 pic.twitter.com/Ck3hG5L3Cc— GOAL (@goal) October 9, 2018
"I do think about it," Carvajal responded when asked by Libero magazine whether he has thought about playing abroad before he hangs up his boots. "And I am clear that I want to play in the Premier League. "It is an experience that I really want to have. I don't want to be left wondering what it would be like. But, on the other hand, I would like to spend my whole career here, which would be something very nice too. "It is true that [with] Qatar, China... we should not trick ourselves, it is about money. I would really like to experience the Premier League, but we will see." Carvajal is under contract at the Bernabeu until 2022, as part of club president Florentino Perez's policy of keeping regular first-team players tied down long term. As you can see, that tweet is taking what he said out of context and making it sound like he wants to play in the EPL right now when he's actually talking about possibly playing there in the future. Nothing wrong with that.
