Yeah. That kind of comeback is almost generational. Can't see it happening again, if for no other reason than I think Liverpool will get AT LEAST one away goal, if not two.
I don't know about generational, Barcelona came back from 4-0 down last year against PSG (and PSG scored an away goal), could happen again. But I think as long as Salah is on the field, Liverpool will go through.
Get well soon Sir Alex http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sp...reer-Englands-greatest-club-boss-Man-Utd.html

I'm watching and wondering what do we have to do to get our guys here in the US to play this kind of football? I mean it's like we don't take it seriously here while they can't breathe over there without football. I'm sure the money is one main factor, so until we get that part close to Europe I can't see our league our teams competing in an elite level.
This Madrid team is amazing. The way these guys show up in the biggest moments is awe-inspiring. Makes me miss the days we were actually competing for something.
Probably an unfair comparison. Gareth is special talent, arguably a once in a generation talent. The last Welshman of his class was Ryan Giggs. Now to be fair we could ask why the US isn’t producing talent like Aaron Ramsey and Ben Davies, two Welsh players well beyond American players in their respective positions. It’s a bit like saying why can’t the US produce more Landon Donovans, he too was a once in a generation talent. Every country has at least one of those types of players, Salah for Egypt being another example. It’s the countries able to produce not only that one in a generation talent, but 10-15 exceptionally good players to fill out the starting 11 and another 20 players who are very good and another 100 under the age of 18 who will fill those roles as they get older. The US may have its next generational talent in Pulisic, but it doesn’t have those 10-15 exceptionally talented players. Right now I’m not even sure it has 10 very good players to support Pulisic.
Luka Modric and Toni Kroos are special. I love watching them play. Feel really bad for Karius. Terrible, terrible mistakes. He owned up to them this morning and apologized to Liverpool fans. Anyone watch the Promotion game? Fulham!!!!
Was secretly hoping for a Fulham loss as Sessegnon is a long-term target for Spurs - and speaking of Bale - he could be the next dominant left sided player. Going to be pricey now.
I'm sure the bloke feels terrible and seeing his anguish, you can feel a bit of sympathy. But only to a point. He is after all, receiving a salary that many here couldn't dream of and he's likely got a decade or more in this career. If you stop and think about it, how bad would you feel for someone if they screwed up that badly in a normal job? The first goal in particular, was a clear lack of attention and concentration. Looking at the third, if you look at his hands, it seems like he thought about punching the second guessed himself. If you or I made serious errors at work that were results of indecision and lack of attention, we'd be concerned for our jobs. Also, did anyone feel bad for Clement Diop last season?
Not really, but promotion probably puts him out of Tottenham’s reach. Not to mention I think Fulham are still miffed about Dembele.
Dramatic game that had a little bit of everything. You have to feel bad for Mo Salah. Sergio Ramos plays the villain. Carva goes down and will probably miss the WC. Wacky goals and a pitch invasion that robs Cristiano from a goal in the final. Have to echo the praise for Kroos and Modric. Great, great players who don't always get a ton of the acclaim. At 28, Kroos has a World Cup and 4 UCL titles. Maybe he'll get bored in Europe and come to the US for the real challenge that is the MLS Cup Playoffs.

So Ronaldo @ 37 years old to LA Galaxy? I don't really enjoy 18 month contracts ever since that good for nothing scouser was allowed to waste our time. But if it's like a Ibra situation I may be open to it, just have to see and hear what his motivation will be.
