Definitely disagree. La Pina when healthy was very good. I still remember our Libertafores run where he destroyed Velez and sao Paulo. Unfortunately he was made out of glass.

 

he ragdolled them mostly because of his speed though, when it was pina and fabian on the wings fabian was always the one who had technique meanwhile pina was the one making the runs beating the winger and making a cross. I saw them play live plenty of times.

edit: im not at all saying he is a bad player just saying his main attribute was his speed. Maybe some of you think i am underrating him.

edit2: When I say technical I mean wingers like Ramon Morales, Cabrito Arellano (1 of my favorite wingers of all time) or Carlos Vela (which wouldv been in our squad had we bid more than LA )

In exhange for Chofis and some money, we would be getting Cesar Montes

Not a bad deal. Montes is an up & coming CB that’s already been called to the NT. Chofis just never panned out like we all wished he could. The guy would show flashes of greatness but has been very inconsistent

 

I would love that.

 

A change of pace will be good for him.

 

This would be good move. I still believe Chofis will be a good player but we cant wait on him to grow up.

 

Doesn't look like it will be a problem. Jesus Martinez just said he has good relation with Jorge and Jose Luis. These conspiracy theories are getting old.

 

I was told that Montes isnt playing with Monterey because hes good as gone. Anyone know if this is true?
