    I looked at that one before, certainly looks like a great option for looking at your field coverage and distance, etc.

    Modest battery life and no vibrate means it can only be a backup imo.

    If you turn the GPS off while not on a game, the battery can last quite a bit longer. The manual says, in clock mode only, the battery will last up to five weeks. Using GPS 30 minutes per day, ten days. If you are prudent with the GPS, I think you could make it through a typical day for us (i.e. 4-5 games of varying lengths).

    I actually got one. It arrived yesterday. I used it on a U15G D1 game this evening. It's really cool seeing how far you're running during a game. I did 3.5 miles tonight.

    You can pretty much easily walk that far in 80 minutes!

    It was a quick game but there was a great deal of square and back passing. Sometimes I wouldn't have to move much at all for a good minute of so. Very good ball control and possession by both teams.
