Re: Red Bull Arena Construction Thread 8 : Enough Waiting for our Fully Operational Death Star Alrea I was over there yesterday, the LED screens were being finalized and were quite a site.
Re: Red Bull Arena Construction Thread 8 : Enough Waiting for our Fully Operational Death Star Alrea "You must spread..." Damnit. Beat me to it. I was about to post it. I could negative you, instead.
Re: Red Bull Arena Construction Thread 8 : Enough Waiting for our Fully Operational Death Star Alrea Are you guys gonna sell out the stadium for the season?
Re: Red Bull Arena Construction Thread 8 : Enough Waiting for our Fully Operational Death Star Alrea Maybe not the entire season, but I think there will be some solid attendance numbers over all. I would consider it a success for NY at this point, to average around 20k by seasons end. It's a step in the right direction.
Re: Red Bull Arena Construction Thread 8 : Enough Waiting for our Fully Operational Death Star Alrea If this club could sign a DP that the fans could relate with, it's possible that the attendance will keep going up from mid season towards the end of the season.
Re: Red Bull Arena Construction Thread 8 : Enough Waiting for our Fully Operational Death Star Alrea true, and the gameday experience has got to be good and the team cant be sitting in 15th place midseason.
Re: Red Bull Arena Construction Thread 8 : Enough Waiting for our Fully Operational Death Star Alrea A Raul or Henry would pretty much guarantee a sellout for the rest of the season. Which would be 7 home games. But even a raise to 20K would be HUGE +8,000 in one year?
Re: Red Bull Arena Construction Thread 8 : Enough Waiting for our Fully Operational Death Star Alrea I really feel like this thread title is a win for me...
Re: Red Bull Arena Construction Thread 8 : Enough Waiting for our Fully Operational Death Star Alrea We promise to sell it out every time we play you in the playoffs.
Re: Red Bull Arena Construction Thread 8 : Enough Waiting for our Fully Operational Death Star Alrea Actually, I plan to sell out every time the team is sold...
Re: Red Bull Arena Construction Thread 8 : Enough Waiting for our Fully Operational Death Star Alrea lol

Re: Red Bull Arena Construction Thread 8 : Enough Waiting for our Fully Operational Death Star Alrea Not really on topic, but the pictures from page one got me thinking of this...
Re: Red Bull Arena Construction Thread 8 : Enough Waiting for our Fully Operational Death Star Alrea lol! Brilliant!
Re: Red Bull Arena Construction Thread 8 : Enough Waiting for our Fully Operational Death Star Alrea thank you. The wife and I are planning our trip to NJ for a match this season.
Re: Red Bull Arena Construction Thread 8 : Enough Waiting for our Fully Operational Death Star Alrea Hmm, a designated player that I could relate with? So he has to be in his twenties, underpaid, with a low to medium fitness level and sit out on Saturdays and Jewish holidays. I would prefer one that will play well like Juan Pablo Angel and not one that I could not relate with.
Re: Red Bull Arena Construction Thread 8 : Enough Waiting for our Fully Operational Death Star Alrea That's your take on that! Red Bulls fans want a talented player that fits well with the team and in the end will help the club to become a success. That's what the fans want and will relate with, not players with big names that comes to this club on vacation like in the past and didn't add anything to the club! But I'm sure you meant the samething as well in your remarks!
Re: Red Bull Arena Construction Thread 8 : Enough Waiting for our Fully Operational Death Star Alrea It really all depends on your definition of "relate with". I prefer to use Bill Clinton's, in which case I'd have Hope Solo in goal... (and no, don't even go there with DP status!!)
Re: Red Bull Arena Construction Thread 8 : Enough Waiting for our Fully Operational Death Star Alrea if only i could DP you with rep. you'll have to make do with just the regular old missionary kind. EDIT: If only i could rep you at all. apparently i'm not enough of a rep whore
Re: Red Bull Arena Construction Thread 8 : Enough Waiting for our Fully Operational Death Star Alrea Not much news until the first game, so...flags on the flag poles? When? What? There will be an United State of America, City of Harrison and New Jersey State flags? Or will they stick with their namesake and fly NYC and New York State flags? I believe the Chicago Fire fly both the Bridgeview and Chicago flags, iirc.
