Sloppy professional soccer game. With that said, our guys looked relevant and engaged. On the road we are not world beaters. So to be evenly playing Utah on their field I actually thought we could see the 1-1 away draw through to the final whistle. Once again, the Colombian hangover we still deal with is there where our guys shut down late on and allow soft goal. We lose. Shit boys. Have some way of overcoming past season results and show your mettle. Well. On to LAEG. As always, DALE DYNAMO! FOREVER ORANGE! !!
@CeltTexan After giving up an early goal (heck, in like the first half minute) it was good to see they fought back and got the equalizer before the half. They didn't look horrible, but giving up the winning goal on the 75", like clockwork, it's quite frustrating. I haven't looked at the stats, but I bet the Dynamo lead the league in losing games after the 75 minute... and not just this year.
I admire your optimism, but the collection of soccer “talent” acquired at the lowest cash cost to ownership has lost 18 games this year - more than half - and only FC Cincinnati has lost more. This club is completely irrelevant in MLS and in Houston
Absolutely spot on. I would bet dollars to donuts that what you speak of on this stat is indeed true of our guys. It is a trait that was NOT in our club's DNA from years back, yet it crept in during the Coyle years and festered into a bad disease under Cabrera's era. It must be cut out post haste! For sure our team has dropped so many matches these last few seasons by conceding late goals. Both home and on the road. At home is just not Clutch City culture which Ching n De Ro n Rico and the boys had on lock!
