Thoughts: Given our lack of depth in the attack, Solari has a decision to make. Assuming Vinicius is healthy enough to start, here are his options. 1) He can start Case/Modric/Ceballos and Isco/Brahim in an attacking position. 2) He can start Isco in a different role, a free-roaming midfield role which would probably be his preference. 3) He can start Marcelo in the attack and Reguilon in the backline, something we have not seen in years, but I'm sure many would like to see given Marcelo's current defensive form. I wouldn't start Vinicius. He's put in a shift the last couple of matches, but no way he can do that every 3-4 days, and certainly not coming off of a flu/cold/infection. Keep him on the bench, if we're lucky he won't be risked at all. If need be give him 30 minutes.

This is probably our toughest game under Solari ( that includes the Roma game ), Betis are really good this year, they play a high tempo possession based game which means we’re likely not to see the ball as much as we normally do so we’ll need to be clinical with our chances ( lol ). I’m not too confident going into this match, we certainly have much better players than Betis so if we show up to play we’ll win but anything less, it’s a loss, perhaps even a bad one.
Looking at any possible line-up with the players available, I keep asking myself : ' Who is going to score goals? ' Sigh. It's just crazy how we have no options apart from Vazquez , Bale and VJ for the flanks.
Can't remember the last time we didn't start a Liga game with Vasquez. Hopefully Solari is aware that we can field other players apart from him in his precious 4-3-3 and we don't start the match with 10 men.
